I'm stuck deciding between spamming assaults so i can rank up to 2nd lieutenant (currently 1 new assault away from corporal) and get Perdu OR spamming Nyzul Isle so i can get floor 100 (currently @ 21-25) and get King's Justice.

Decisions, decisions....

i do nyzul once a week (four tags) and before i stopped logging on during the week i'd spend two tags during the week on assault (trying for items, not rank ups, but same idea).

i don't really get a chance to spend 6 tags a week, usually about once a week i get a chance to use my 4

personally i'd go with nyzul. you can still rank up, it's just slow as hell.

Yeah that's true.

I guess i could have added that my 2 mains are ninja and warrior and i'd like perdu for both biggrin.gif
and while i hear King's Justice kicks ass , i'm not terribly excited about Blade: Kamu

if you can get enough people to be able to do all the different assaults, ranking up shouldn't take very long. my reasoning was mostly that for war you're looking at getting a new ws if you do nyzul, but only a weapon upgrade for assault. but if it's not going to take a long time to get your assaults done, you might as well, especially since it'll benefit nin too.

that said, if you pass every nyzul, 4 tags a week, that's 20 floors a week. it really depends on the people and setup you have, though. in my group, it took forever to get 100 because people would always show up with only two or three tags.

(disclaimer: also it's really your choice, and i don't play war.)

Perdu is a bigger increase to your damage and also more visual impact on your character (People look at you in WG and go oh what a gimp with Byakko's or w/e), so I did assaults first and then just recently finished Nyzul.

Also, if you're able to complete all of the assaults and finish ToAU missions, you'll be able to stack 5 tags for Nyzul.

When I'm 5/5 on Askar, I intend to move onto Salvage and work towards the long goal of 5/5 Ares's. After that, I don't know tongue.gif Guess I'll start spamming Azure Experiments for Divisor Ring.

Captain (finish all assaults) would definitely help you then.

I got Nyzul to 100 in about a month and a half(with some cancelled runs) then Ranked up from Superior Private to Second Lieutenant.

Ok, how about this. My WS gear is as follows.

Byakko's Axe
Pole Grip
Fire bomblet
O-Hat
Snow Gorget
Brutal Earring
Fowling Earring
Hauberk
Hecatomb hands
Flame Ring
Rajas Ring
Foragers Mantle
Warwolf Belt
Byakko's Haidate
Rutters Sabatons

I have the abj. for Adaman Celata and was wondering if I should get it or just stick with the O-hat. I dont do all the math to know if my acc is capped or not ( i hate math ) and when i ask people i know i keep getting the same answer. "It depends on weather you have acc issues or not" I just wanna know if the celata is worth getting till i can get something better (Askar or something) or if i should just stick with the O-hat.

P.S. I swap in Genbu's Kabuto for Steel Cyclone, this question is more for my RR build.

Adaman's a piece of crap, personally I'd stick with O.Hat for now. Buy an N.Head if you're not in an HNM shell and have the gil for it, can usually get em for between 1-3M depending on server.

If your accuracy is fine get a Siphai Turbean, or if you got the gil a Unicorn Cap. You can also try doing a Nyzul 96-100 floor for Askar Head

Adaman's a piece of crap

No way, Adaman Celata is by no means garbage. It's no Hecatomb Cap, but it's an all around good piece.

What you should do is test your TP returns in your Optical Hat, and then test them in your Adaman Celata. Judging by the rest of your WS setup, you should be fine when it comes to your accuracy. People diss the Robocop helmet too much. tongue.gif It might seem bad to give up the 5 accuracy, but I think you'd be happy with the Attack+8 you gain. I made the swap way back when, and I was happy that I did.

As someone else suggested, if you have the gil to throw down on a Unicorn Cap then go for it. It's a good blend of STR and accuracy. If you want to go all out on it though, just poke around in the aery and see if someone will sell you a Hecatomb Cap abjuration. If you're the type that likes to earn those things and wish not to buy one, get your LS together for "The Blood-Bathed Crown" SCNM to get a Gnadbohd's Helm. It's shy 5 points of STR and 1 point of DEX of being a Hecatomb Cap, but it has Attack+8 thrown on it to give it a little more of a boost.

Adaman Celata is a Heca Cap without the base stats. Of course, the STR and DEX is what makes Heca cap so good, and otherwise you really might as well use Optical Hat (or Ares mask lolol.)

Gnadbohd's Helm should be left to the Wyvern Helm jobs (or NIN), imop. You could probably find a buyer and sell one for more than it'd cost you to buy a Heca cap.
