i been woodworking 80 for 3 yrs now and i dont see any good way to lvl it w/o losing millions !!!


so been wandering how to break Mithran Fishing Rod i tryied ALOT in qufim but mehh never breaks

any one can give me good way to break rods plz help me out my fishing skill is only 3

you wont be able to break rods unless you're fishing skill is higher

It will take you a lot longer doing this route compared to farming or whatever you do for gil.

I'd go cabinets until 81 and/or mythic wand (and desynth) until 84.

i do Teak logs >.> wind day and wind weather so i dont get breaks and sell stacks for 60k profit around 5k each stack .... but never on AH ><

Eh, I did Broken Mithran Rods for a little bit (Be sure to bring several of them in case you break synths, and besides, you can make a bit of gil with the broken rods...), I did it inside Gusgen Mines using Meatballs for Gavial Fish.

I'm surprised you'd be stuck at level 80 of all places. I've been stuck at around level 96 for a long ass time because it costs so damn much to get to 100, and everything worth making at 100 requires a huge amount of luck, which I haven't been coming across lately. I guess I could do Lancewood till 99, but the stupid Lumber never sells and I don't feel like eating the damage to my pockets because I wouldn't have any gil left over after that to make anything back.

i was under the understanding that weather did nothing to influence synythisis/desynthisis. lots of people had tried crafting in the cloisters and even in dynamis and no conclusive evidence could be found showing that success/skillup rates were higher or lower in those weather effected areas.

I've always found that superstitious crafting stuff amusing, but what's more amusing to me is why some people rage so badly over it. I never see people rage over people scared to walk under ladder or black cats before. =P

I guess people rage because they'd rather believe in false hope than accept they have no control over their craft.

Probably the reason they also rage is because most of us have already come to our own conclusion and have our beliefs over voodoo crafting.
