Evolution 2009, Las Vegas tournament for multiple fighting games. They had over 1000 SF4 players, I dunno what the BB count was. Heartnana is a Noel player. A very good Noel player.

Dealing with ragna.. You need to be quick on your perfect blocking. alot of ragnas will enter with Hell's Fang (The one where he dashes forward with his fist, then slashes upwards). Block that, punish. double airdashing forward while spamming forward light hits (A) creates a moving wall of kitty pain, and is an effective way to chase if he tries to flee.
Here's a combo for you to practice in training mode. Remember the Over-Under combo i told you about? work this into it.
After a low forward medium punch (B, where she slides on the ground) perform a backgrab (be carefull not to ROLL to the backgrab, otherwise you end up with her throwing a bowling ball and getting your face eaten). If performed correctly, she will slide bhind the enemy, and drop them to the ground. If you input no attack, she will do a pose and look at the screen. however if you use a roll during the end of the grab animation, she will use it. So, durign the grab, use the forward roll heavy punch (C, the "SHING SHING!" attack, similar to Slashy Slashy but slower) But don t overspam the button. She should SHING them down, the SHING them upwards. after the up, you need to down+drive (the jumping up dash). as soon as you input the drive, press and hold UP (this is very important you get to holding up quickly. if you're not, Tao will bounce away from your enemy and the cmbo is ruined) if you did it right, tao will hit the enemy, and travel right next to them. Then you wanna press Up+Heavy punch (she does a straight forward slash) as soon as you do, use an UP+drive. Then repeat UP+Heavy, UP+Drive one more time.
Done right, this combo goes Backgrab>- Downforward+C,C >- Up+Drive >- Up+C >- UP+Drive >-UP+C >- UP+drive. Basically you backthrow, knock them up, drive chase, heavy attack, drive chase, heavy attack, drive chase. This results in 3 heavy attacks and 3 drive attacks for ALOT of damage that if done correctly is inescapable. it's Tao's bread and butter Drive Loop.
If you master that, practice following up the last drive with an aerial forward roll Triangle for additional damage while you plummet to the ground.

Most dont, cause they suck. Use them right though, and it's alot of fun. they have extremely high priority and will stop most advances, and the Curved-arc one will stop anyone who comes in for an aerial approach. If i'm playing an icecar spamming Jin, the B projectile goes straight through it and stops every icecar.
Oh. and if she shows a Kitten, i just laugh my ass off. it makes me happy.
Edit:
something i thought a fellow Tao player might like

Heartnana made me want to quit playing BlazBlue, I felt embarrassed just watching the guy. BlazBlue gets a bad enough rep from the fighting crowd already as being a game for weeaboos but Heartnana just had to seal the deal by claiming he only plays as girls in his fighting games and having a pink blog with more anime girls. ._.;

I'm no pro nor do I intend to be, I just play the game for fun. I'm sure that some manly beef jerky eating, plaid shirt wearing badass is gonna take him down eventually but he did the BlazBlue community no favors during EVO. Did you see EVO via the live feed or irl? Because if you were checking out the live feed I'm sure you saw what the other ignorant fighting game buffs thinks about BlazBlue.

I play fucking melty blood. I'm used to people hating on my game. Fuckem. I don't care what they think on the rare occassion they DO think. I play and enjoy my game enough that I don't need to hate on someone else's.
The ones doing their communities no favors are the ones hostile to other games.
