I always double-up, Ill even double-up on a 8 sometimes 9(when Im feeling ballsy) Its part of our job. Hell I was b/s'n in dynamis and double-up'd on a 10, and got 11 XD

We cor are gamblers based on luck. You cant be scared to do sheeit, you bust, you move on. Everyone else gets two rolls, you get stuck with one. Simple as that, keep the rotation up.

I always double on 6 & 7 unless Fold is down and I'm already sitting on one bust (although that's a situation that only happens once every blue moon). I don't double on 8 or 9 unless it's an unlucky number and Snake Eye is down and Fold is up. I rarely bother to double 6 on Evoker's, though, regardless of my Bust/JA timer status. Doesn't seem worth it, really.

I only ever double-up on a 6 if I have fold up, that 1/6 chance seems more like a 50/50 chance for me -.- so I almost never risk it. not worth having to wait out a bust.

Well it's not always quite that simple, you can't just look at Fold and see it's down and decide not to double-up if, say, Fold will be back up in 1~2 minutes, it'll take you almost that long to re-roll anyway. Besides, having one bust isn't so bad, it's only the COR that suffers from having only one roll/the bust penalty. Better to risk enduring a bust on yourself than to leave your party with a crappy VI ('scept for, Evoker's) imo.

when i played i thought i was the only one who thought that everytime you rolled a 6 there was a 95% chance you'd bust. Never stopped me from doubling up when i hit an 8 on hunters/chaos roll, or even worse 9 on warriors and rogues roll lol. The way i see it you have fold, and if you dont have fold you can use random deal and pray fucking double up doesnt get reset cuz your too anxious to reroll the busted dice and cant wait 3 seconds (yeah its happend in a spur of the moment thing lol). And if you dont have either you can reach in your pants, grab some balls and double that shit up! Damn i miss that fun shit, i want back in this game.

There are plenty of cor's that never ever /whm except on the occasion they go into an even like dyna. He may have just not had the gil and inv to dyna was at a moments notice and they ask for /whm. No biggie. It's not your job. Who cares?
