I'm sure this has been asked a lot and tried to search for it but with no luck.
I called up SE and asked how many PlayOnline accounts one could have on a single card; he said unlimited essentially. I then, in a subtle way, asked if you can use a different card to make another account and would these two cards be related in anyway by Name (card holder) if "I" were to delete one of the accounts. He said no.
Now I gather SE ban/suspend playonline accounts via card number and not by card name, otherwise they risk deleting someone with the same name. So surely, for arguments sake: if you wanted to avoid a hefty ban/suspend on a long running account for whatever reason that may be, create a new account on a different card altogether therefore be completely safe from certain activities on your primary account using your "buffer" account.
Would this work?

I don't really see the point. I got hit with the ban stick on one account but 4 others were left untouched - yes, all had the same name, cc, and address.
