Hey guys. At the moment I'm a 70 SMN, but I've been wanting to switch to a RNG. I have around 350k gil. Should I invest some of it into WW so RNG will be less expensive? I'm more worried about the money issues involved with RNG cause it seems to be very expensive. Any tips?

You can if you want. Honestly rng is not that expensive. Or at least anymore. Unless you just want to main it forever and nothing else.

Honestly, in order for Woodworking to be beneficial to you as a RNG you'd need to hit 100 WW first. This will give you the highest possible high quality rate you can get for Demon Arrows. By that time, you'll have a good HQ rate on most of the popular bolts you'd use as RNG. The reason I mention Demon Arrow's is because that's what you'd want to TP in if you're using a bow. Kabura are on the expensive side, not to mention that they're 91 WW and 54 BC so your HQ rate is pretty low.
If you're willing to level WW, do so as an investment that's going to fund your entire character, not just your RNG. By the time you hit 100, you could just finish off guild points and hit your +6 with support and start popping out some HQ staves for your SMN and extra gil.
Also, just some advice, if you don't have a steady gil flow then don't bother with a craft. You're not really going to get anywhere significant with 350k. I made this mistake when I started Smithing. I came in to around three million gil and dumped it all in Smithing. I'm sitting at 84 with no more gil to finish it off. Save up enough gil to take WW to 60, then decide if you want to continue with it. You only need to hit 47 in order to hit the highest tier you can in the lv.16-60 bracket for bolts, but take it to 60 to finish it off as a sub in case you want to level up another craft later on.

Demon arrows are now 5k a stack.
You will go through probably 2.5 stack an hour.
That is next to nothing
To level a craft solely to save money on Rng is not worth it.
However if you want to level WW to also make money (with arrows as a side bonus) then I said go for it.

Demon Arrows are the Acid Bolt of Archery. If you're 75 you should be using Kabura or Elemental Arrows they are our best options for damage.
Demon are cost efficient but not what you want to use.

He's asking how to make RNG less expensive. If he's watching his gil the last thing he's going to want to do is TP with Kabura. Some elemental arrows belong to Alchemy and he's considering Woodworking so that's not going to work for the direction he's taking. If he does take WW'ing up, considering the low cost and HQ rate of Demon Arrows, he's going to get the best out of his craft and gil by TP'ing with Demon Arrow's and saving the Kabura Arrow's he makes for WS'ing in.

Remember too that he is talking about starting RNG meaning he will be level 1. Demon arrows are in the far distant future. I think WW would be a great craft to help personally to answer the question he was asking.

well honestly its your choice. currently i am 100+3 woodworking and my favroite job/main is rng. but i rarely craft my own ammo. when u factor in getting all the synth mat's (meaning farming mat's for arrowheads/bolt heads for it to be most cost effective and carving your own lumber) then running back and forth to quiver them, its best just to buy your own. the amount u actually save is minimal even with hq, cause with those hq's ull also have breaks that piss u off.
I actually did what papoose did lol. I kept dumping all my gil into WW, at first for rng. Now i dont even use the craft for rng lol. But it would be a good plan to get it too atleast 60, that way if u change ur mind later about lvlin rng or taking a diffrent craft to 100 u wouldent have droped alot of gil into it and u would already have 1 of ur sub crafts done

Even if I was a millionaire I'd perfer TPing in Demon over Kabura for the Attack Down effect.
