New DynDoneRight Dynamis LS

Being relatively new to Phoenix, and without enemies (other than this one guy who tried to rip me off on a Genie Weskit), I’d like to say Hello to everyone. I’ll begin by giving a short background of my experience, the schedule, then a goal/mission statement for the LS, and finish up with the AF/Currency rules.

Background:
My endgame roots are all on Garuda. I led the shell EvilDeedsInc for 4 years. EDI accomplished pretty much everything in the game outside of AV and PW. More relevant to this post, my Dynamis experience includes everything. There is not one mob in any zone that I haven’t personally taken part in killing and leading a group through. Every Xarc pull through all of the weapons, every Tav pull through all levels of all floors, every Glacier pull through all of the hydras, etc... I have flawless strategies on for groups as few as the low 20’s (less in some zones, and obviously lower in Tav)

After EDI was finished I found out a few good friends were here on Phoenix in a newer LS and I decided to transfer over. Beyond has been great to me and my friends, however I am having trouble finding a Dyn LS that fits my view for the event. So I decided to give this a try, see how the response is, and here we are.

Schedule:
Runs will be Tuesday at 7:00PM Est, and Saturday at 6:00PM Est(early, but gives everyone a chance to go out with friends afterwards)

Goal/Mission:
Obtain the more rare armor items with little regard for anyone trying to obtain relic, and make decent amounts of gil at the same time. I’m a firm believer helping a member of a shell obtain a relic for ridiculously low rate, or sponsored runs, are a disaster waiting to happen. Too often those people leave the shell or the game after accomplishing their goal.

I would prefer to get extremely rare equipment by doing Dyn-Tav about once a week, and by doing so either give some people a break from Dyn for a night, or if enough people end up following me here I’d be happy to do an early and late Tav run on the same night.

Sad but true, I can’t count on too many people with Tav access joining me even with that goal since they probably have shells they are in and happy with right now. So be prepared to blast through towns/cop zones in the first month, but then remain in the northlands and Tav zones more than half the time after that if this work out.

I keep saying “If” and “see how the response is” because I refuse to waste people’s time. I’m not gonna take 15 people on a town run because I don’t see any long term potential for a group like that. If enough people like what I am offering here I will dedicate my time to making sure that when we go, we destroy everything anywhere.

Rules:
I’m going to break this down 2 ways. Gil/Currency Rules, and AF rules.

Gill Rules – 1 point per attendance (half a point for leaving early or arriving late, not just by a minute, not going to be unfair about it) All currency the first month will be sold off at standard Rolanberry rates. Bank Split will take place at the end of each month, and each member will receive a share based on how many points they have. An additional 2 points will be given to anyone who attends all. Anyone below 25% attendance will not be eligible for a split.

Example: 800 Currency per week x 7k average x 4 weeks = 22.4M
Subtract the 4M for glasses = 18.4M
Average 24 people each run (24 points x 8 runs for the month + 10 points for the 5 people who made it to all runs = 202 points)
18.4M/202 points = 91k per attendance, plus any of the other drops like Wootz
Attend 6 runs for the month = 546k while working for AF at the same time

(Given current prices on Phoenix I'm guessing we could make quite a bit more than that)

After the first month we will do more northlands/tav runs, and currency won’t be quite as high, but I think the above is a good estimate for the first month of LS activity.

After the first month, if we have standout people who are interested in upgrading relic, I might consider allowing them to pay 75% of the outside currency rate. No more than 2 upgraders at a time (takes too long otherwise and people get bored waiting for a relic), but I would urge relic seekers to probably not consider this LS. 75% seems like a fair number to me because it makes currency easier to sell, other people in the shell aren't really shorted much, and doing attestations and weapon runs for people in the LS is actually pretty fun. I will not lower the price % any further than that though.

I also will not allow a relic to determine which zones we do, dyn gets even more boring if you have to spam a zone. The currency given to an individual will also be verified by which stage the collector is on. There will be no buying currency for a slightly discounted rate, and turning around to sell it at the full rate.

Also in an attempt to make more gil, after a few months if we are maxed out on certain good AF pieces its possible we could begin selling armor to outside “customers” to make even more money. I have experience with that as well.

AF Rules – Everyone will start at square 1 since it’s a new LS. There will be no Main job, but we will have a wish-list of sorts. Place any 2 armor pieces for old dyn, and any 2 armor pieces for CoP dyn on a list and those will be the items you have primary rights on provided that you keep up attendance. Items not on wish-lists will be free lot for 75’s.

Someone without that item on their wish-list can not lot against someone with it on their wish-list. New items can be added to a wish-list after receiving a previous item if enough attendance has been shown at the time of drop. If enough attendance has not been shown, the member will have to wait until they attend more runs before being able to add a new item. Exact attendance requirements for that I am still working out.

In addition, if 2 people have an item on a wish-list, but one members attendance is much higher, the person with lower attendance will be asked to pass the item. After the first month I can see this being like a 50% rule (If someone has 50% less attendance than someone else, they’ll have to pass the item), but that won’t be in effect right away.

Closing Notes:
Thank you all who take the time to read over this. I hope some of you find that this sort of shell would work well for you. I also encourage people to bring friends, or entire smaller groups they currently work with for limbus, salvage, or whatever. I really enjoy leading those circles of friends because they’re more comfortable in the LS right away with faces they recognize, and make it more fun for everyone else at the same time.

Like I said, I won’t waste anyone’s time. I’ll try my best to recruit over the next 2 weeks and plan on beginning Dynamis on May 12th. If I don’t receive enough interest I’ll send anyone who had signed up a /tell in game, and post here with my apologies.

Once we get going I’ll add how much currency we are at for a given month, so everyone can keep track. We will have a google spreadsheet or something that everyone can view for attendance/wishlist stuff also. So no worries about anything being hidden from anyone.
