This topic isnt for people digging logs in the jungles. Ive been an A10 digger for several years now and recently made a return to the game. Digging is my comfort zone and I have slowly amassed my bankroll back to where it should be. As an A10 digger I dont dig anywhere but rolanberry fields. There may be some excuse for digging in the desert but even that is garbage compared to the return you get on a good day with o ores. (btw. newbs are welcome to dig there you just pull up the pebbles so the more skilled can dig longer to cap). My question revolves around the mystery of placeholders in digging. To the best of my knowledge I have a solid understanding of how orichalcum works with a placeholder system (much similar to certain NMs). Sometimes my theory works perfectly and sometimes it fails, which i often chalk up to competition in the zone or potentially a moon-phase interference i am unaware of. I have collected alot of data on this subject and still don't have it completely down, it is one of the games best kept secrets to me. Some JP diggers who have been active for years and years seem to understand better than me, AFKing until it is pop time and then swooping in to collect the only important item, orichalcum. I wont get into details about my theories and data but I wanted to see if anyone out there has done similar research. I have a feeling this is over most peoples heads ie. "WOW i just dug an o ore!!!!"........

I have read some theories, and i tried to understand how this work BEFORE the digging nerf. Now with the 100dig/day its way harder, especially if you dont know how many other diggers there is. Also i understand the maximum ores present AND the respawn rate varies with moonphase - which makes it almost impossible to figure out. On a side note i noticed it that when you enter a new area 1-2 item spawns.. but im pretty sure they arent of orichalcum lvl. My estimate is that the ores spawn with a 15-20min interval
