I'm at the point where I need to get my brown belt, a juji gi, and possibly an O. Kote...

I really need some tips in earning gil, if you say BCNM please state which ones you are talking about. Any help is much appreciated.

first piece of advice. there was no need to make two topics on you getting gil.
second BCNMS are not guaranteed money. get used to farming and just go out and make your gil.

My weekly Gil raids..

ISNM (3000 Imperial Standing to do, Puk one in Jade Sepulcher) - Khroma ore
BCNM 40 (Under observation) - Peacock Charm / Utsusemi Ni
Promy-Vazhl ENM - Toreador Ring / Cluster of Somber
Boneyead Gully ENM (Sheep in antlions Clothing) - Hagun / Foragers Mantle / Cloud Evoker
Brothers ENM - Hedgehog Bomb / Scouters Rope
Various SNM (NM's in [s] zones, look them up) - Various items, most are 500k + and easily Duoable.
KS 99 - Nothing ever drops for me, not even BB items :*(

Most of the time none of these drop anything, but when they do tongue.gif.

I would say khroma ore is probably like 80% of my income lol, 400k a drop and I seem to get 2 or 3 a week.

If you don't have several 75 jobs, some of these can be tricky. The objective is to Low man them, either duo or trio, and that requires specific jobs.

I still need to try and solo the Toreador Ring ENM. I should start doing that this weekend. :/

And to the TC, is MNK your highest job? If not what is? Do you have THF to at least 15?

I don't know what Juji Gi is but why not just quest brown belt and camp o kotes?
1/7 on O kotes and Brown belt only took me a few days to complete even without Malboro ToD.

He's talking about Jujitsu Gi.

And it's possible he may not be high enough in lvls to camp those NMs. I know I wasn't when I was farming for these items.

Do you know any Summoners? If so, Contaminated Colliseum has a good drop rate on the Morbolger Vine. It only takes 2-3 (I think) summoners to beat the NM in there. Also, Cassie Earring can drop there as well as some other decent money drops. The other 2 items aren't that bad to camp, especially if you have friends to help.

O.Kote can be camped or you can do the BCNM for them. Jujitsu Gi I'd just suggest farming for. Don't expect a lot of help on how to quickly make money in this game. We all have our farming methods (some better than others) and most people hold on to them for as long as they can (nothing worse than losing a ton of money due to competition.)

I had to start over when I didnt qualify for the welcome back campaign and started with MNK myself. One thing to consider is you do not need these items the moment you can wear them.

Once you get around 45 you can solo the Yags for the Fuma and O. Kote NM's with relative ease, and if you go /THF you can make a little money stealing Silver Beastcoins and farming White Rocks from the Meat Maggots.

The Jijutsu Gi was not that expensive so I did'nt bother camping it, and just purchased it with the gil I gained when farming the O. Kote and Fuma NM's.

The Brown Belt NM's are quite a bit more difficult though. Nue can be handled around 53-54 without 2hr fully buffed. If you go /thf you can steal some Mythril Beastcoins from the Gobs inbetween PH respawns. There is also a FoV book you can use to get a little experience and gil if you still get exp off of the monsters around there.

Deadly Dodo is quite a bit more difficult since he double attacks very often, however he can be tackled around 52-53 with 2hr without much trouble. If you go /thf you can steal Giant Bird Feathers from the Cockatrice PH's and the meat they drop both go for a decent amount per stack.

Molbroger I have not killed yet, however it seems he can be handled at 55 without much trouble. I would not recommend going AFK in his spawn area he can agg 75 jobs even though it's a level 40 NM. You can steal some more Beastcoins from the surrounding Gobs and lots of monsters drop all kinds of equipment in Ordelles you can sell. The drop rate is kind of low though.
