The current in that region of the ocean does not move at that speed nor in that direction though........

I'm confused. Surely the speed and direction would depend on both the position of the moon, and the weather in that area since the plane went down.

The underlying current is a constant in the region despite weather which only affects surface conditions. Too soon after the plane was missing there was a debris field 60 miles away from the first debris field, not just a long strewn out debris field.

RIO DE JANEIRO, Brazil (CNN) -- On Wednesday, searchers recovered two debris fields and had identified the wreckage, including an airplane seat and an orange float as coming from Flight 447. Officials now say that none of the debris recovered is from the missing plane.
LOL, is this not a little disturbing.............What the hell was it from then? Where is flight 447?

Do any of the 4 of you that post here have a desire to do the WotG missions? I am stuck on the Gnat one in Windy and it takes 4 or 5 people. Have you done them already or are you stuck on it too?
