Well I recently started playing again after taking a break and decided to start leveling my Goldsmithing again. Well I am currently stuck at 53 and tried gold orex4 wasn't getting skill ups so figured i'd try gold rings/earrings and went through about 2 stacks losing about...4 ingots?(only got about .2 through all that) So just wondering if anyone could give me any insightful information. Sorry if any of my grammer is shitty not the best typer lol. Well thanks again

Goshenite Rings and Garnet Rings have a very small profit loss, you're 2 levels below cap from them.

If your smithing/bonecraft are high enough you can try Hydro Claws which cap at 59. You could buy them from the AH to, but they're pretty slow sellers and hardly on the AH.

Gold 50 - 60 is probably the worst stint of any craft pre-60.

Most of the time you have to suck it up and lose money.

Looking at the cost, I'd go for Hydro Patas until 59. You'll probably need to know someone with 68+ bonecraft (or pay someone) to make Bone Patas for this synth.

50-60 isn't as bad as 60-70 was.

It gets a bit better after you craft elemental beads, but then gets bad again due to Orch. Ingots being jacked up in price due to Gobbie Bag quest

Well got my GS to 56 so far, currently leveling my smithing to 30 to start crafting claws don't feel like bugging my friend to make a ton of claws for me. Ill try to take those to 59 and figure the smithing will help out with later syn's. Yea I see that 60-70 will be even worse with the drop in skills up and all =/ but I guess its a tought road as a goldsmither . Ill feel accomplished once I can wear my apron lol.

Oh trust me, 70-80 is far worse than it sounds. You can do a few tricks to get to 70ish easy. I made Moblium Sheets, free and pretty easy to get if you're patient. Just remember after that it's a pure loss from what I noticed, I tried crafting Ashuras, Morion Earrings, and Gold Bucklers since they seemed to be my cheapest path considering most stuff in the 70s catagory hardly seemed to sell.
