I decided to play with Relic Bhuj Retaliation vs KC Hundred fists in diorama.
So we lined up and he hit 2hr. Not a single retaliation proced.
So we where kinda mad about the wasted 2 hour and lack of luls and tried to figure out why it didn't work.
To cut it short we got to the last possible thing that could have caused it, which was his enspell.

So i pop retaliation and he casted enstone. we went about a minute of zero retaltions. Not a single one.
Then he canceled his enspell.
And died in a matter of seconds.
I didn't believe it at first so we retried it a few times and got the same results. When I got hit with enspell retaliation would not go off.

Is there a reason for that? Or is it just a bug.

Well Retaliation only works for physical damage but yeah there is usually a physical damage element because you have to hit for Enspell anyway :/. Sounds like a bug to me.. or SE got lazy. If a hit where damage was 0 but Enspell did some, I would expect that to not Retaliate.. maybe. However, we know, thanks to fanatic's drinks that taking 0dmg still makes Retalation proc so what gives?

I'm pretty sure you can retaliate on 0 damage hits, so it's probably just a glitch. Could just be a weird pvp issue, though I can't say I've been hit that many times on warrior against a mob with enspell to recall if I could retaliate. Did it work with samba active?

Out of curiosity, what was your retaliate rate against him? Just wondering how easy it is to kill people with it. How hard were your 1 damage retaliates actually hitting him for? Been meaning to try war/dnc with relic bhuj.

The proc rate is pretty crazy. I don't like posting random eyeball'd numbers but i would say it was procing 25% in that situation. It Won't proc that much versus a thf or anything though obviously. And the retaliations from a 1dmg bhuj where doing between 5 and 15. But I took that weapon off after the initial 2hr KC. We where thinking it might have been the delay of the weapon that caused it so i had a low delay sword on at the time we realized it was actually the enspell. I actually have it frapsed I think. Maybe i should cook up a ghetto youtube video of it.
