Now comming from a BLM point of view I think it would be nice if BRD can get those stat songs to be AOE by defult again. When you are up nuking you can give INT 2 boost/ ballad II then when resting do double balllad.

No, you're willfully ignoring that I'm on topic. I have no interest in reverting Etudes to AoE, I don't think it is necessary. We have Corsairs (and Diabolos) that can provide far better buffs. I actually value game balance and for buffers, that means that you don't hand everything to just one job. We provide powerful buffs that Corsair doesn't, Corsair provides powerful buffs that we don't. A decaying INT boost that gets me locked into a mage party does not appeal to me at all and I'd rather see the present balance maintained.

You asked, "Do you think SE should change this back?" I reply, "No, and here's why: X, Y, Z." Next time don't ask for opinions or, better yet, just ignore it when someone says an opinion contrary to yours. I wouldn't feel the need to argue if you didn't feel the need to try to change my opinion.

and no, etudes becoming AoE aren't necessary for this game, but neither was a lot of shit that was introduced recently. it wouldn't hurt because, as rambus pointed out we have pianissimo, and considering it has the same recast as a normal non fast cast spell, i see no harm in reverting it back to AoE, because, if you are so against it, just use pianissimo to revert it back to the way it was before.

and before you say, there are more pressing matters that need to be fixed, for example mnk being shafted ever since 2h update,

ok since you are looking for an argument (i dont blame you tbh, KI sux lately), then why not get both? or how about, sometimes you don't always have a cor at your disposal and are just left with a brd for refresh, why not let them be able to boost dmg output of the blm w/o having to cast 5 songs on top of the refresh?

edit: or even rdm/brd w/ AoE Int Etude. shit is situational, and this would never probably occur but still it's a possibility, just like your "get a cor" argument.
