I'm curious to know which body piece is better to weapon skill in. Is it Zahak's Mail or Hecatomb Harness? At the moment I only have Zahak's to WS in. Should I bother getting the Hecatomb Harness if I use the Zahak's?

Drakesbane assumed Zahak should vastly better on anything you dont need accuracy desperately on, for penta/wheeling I am not as sure.

Well use Heca Harness when u switch job to thf, otherwise u won't need it.
Zahak can be compared with Are's Body already.

Critical Hit Rate +3%
Lv. 71 WAR / PLD / DRK / BST / DRG

Hecatomb Harness
DEF: 50 HP +16 STR +12 Accuracy +10
Slow +13%


Both are WS pieces, DEX+10 = 7.5 ACC + 5% Critical Rate for WS, and Drakesbane is a critical WS, which highly demands DEX.
So Heca vs. Zahak is like 2.5 ACC + 2 STR vs. 8 Critical when you WS, which you prefer?

Zahak is teh perfect piece for Drakesbane imo.

What about neuvo with +3% crit for those of us who can't afford a zahak's? STR+5 DEX+5 crit +3% and acc+10 would seem pretty good for drakes, no?

If you consistantly land Drakesbane(as in most/all hits) on Zahak's Mail right now, stick with that. Even so, the 10 DEX technically means what 7 accuracy for a 2 hander? Its really a minimal difference and you could use the Crit%+ and DEX way more.

I wouldn't get the acc, I would get the Double Attack on it. I would just stick to Askar body in that case anyways.

should be pretty good for it I would think, though other stats might be better if u dont need acc depends on rest of gear and mob though.

My acc is usually good on DRG, but I'd be putting acc on it for guillotine, too.. I'd be using it for both DRG and DRK. lol So kinda iffy where to go with the second stat. I figured acc would be a safe bet. If I didn't need acc I'd just stick to askar, like mentioned earlier.

Well considering that Guillotine cant crit hit, it sounds like you would be better off gearing your nuevo for DRG WS and possibly picking something other then Acc as second stat, and just stick with a hauby for Guillotine.

i have crit +3% and attack +10, work very fine.
i use that instead of hecatomb harness.
