Reduced "Bust" Rate?

I've been browsing some old update topics and one concerning Corsair caught my eye. It was the Augest/September update of 2007.

The length of immobility a corsair suffers during their rolls has also been shortened. In addition, the merit point-accessible ability "Fold" will function to reduce the likelihood of busting, as well as modifying the effect of rolls.

Maybe it was just bad wording, as I can't think of how Fold modifies roll effects in any way other than removing them.

Any testing done on Fold merits and rate of Bust?

I don't stats are stats, and percentages don't lie, but it does seem like after I use Fold I don't bust for hours. And I always hit on 6 and occasionally hit on 7 if the unlucky number is lower than 7 giving you a 67% chance of not busting. I've got nothing for you other than a gut feeling. tongue.gif

It should be easy to test. Just find one Corsair with 5/5 Fold merits and one Corsair without any, then check the rate of bust on consecutive rolls past 6.
