My desire for a "pianissimo" is ever increasing as I find more end game activities that would benefit from it. I'm wondering if something in the same theme as snake eye would work. Some sort of meritable ja that when activated would allow you to then phantom roll and with that merit ja up, the roll and subsequent double ups would be target onto only onto that player. The ja would last as long as double up + icon were up so that double ups would also be focused on that individual as well and not hit other party members. May be some merit party application as well say if party wanted acc and atk, but sam wanted acc and tp bonus.

Any other thoughts on how we could incorporate a focused roll?

I believe this has been brought up before, and most people said Corsair should not get such an ability because of how the job functions. I can see how it could be useful "giving yourself MAB for example" but I feel Bard is meant to be the "master of enhancement" and should be the one granted with greater flexibility.

It might cause too much of an issue. If X job wants one buff and Y job wants something else, we don't have the flexibility of a Bard to grant both requests. All our rolls have a shared 1 min timer, and a job ability like this would have to work within those boundaries.

Certainly an issue of "pick your poison" I guess. Not having it sucks, while having it may just over complicate.
I feel like our job is amazing, but somewhat ignored. The only real attention we've seen in three years outside of tier 2 merits were dnc and sch rolls which sort of had to be implemented.
Even if SE decided something like a pianissimo ability was out of the question, I would like to see us get some type of ability or roll or what not that would give us enhancements we could use on ourselves like invis/sneak or raptor mazurka (sp?).

Maybe, but just yesterday I was thinking Corsair was one of the most balanced jobs in the game. Most other jobs can list off a few needed adjustments off the top of their head, but Corsair feels pretty solid IMO. They actually got it right, pretty early on.

I personally don't see a huge need for a Pianissimo equivalent if your party knows what they're doing. If you use distance plugin (or are good at eyeballing), it's pretty easy to hit the people you want with a JA. With BRD it's a bit more difficult to hit the people you want, since you have casting times.
