This has probably been answered before, i tried searching for a post about it, but couldn't find it.
My question is, does the Brutal Earring still proc with Ridill/Mkris equipped? Or with Joy toy? Is it worth using still or should you just use a Assault/Hollow/Fowling?

I think only jailor weapons stack with traits so your answer is no.
if they only hit once double attack has a chance of going off with it, or was the double hit from the weapon? i wonder if someone actually proved that lol.

Double attack procs before the weapons affect. If double attack doesn't proc the weapon's own multi-hit affect can proc.

its bullshit. Brutal still enhances Ridill/Kris hits.
Brutal makes more single hits to double attacks, does no chance to the Weapons Double attacks, and lowers the Weapons 3x attack by less than 1-2% (since not every hit is triple attacked)
so with Brutal and/or DA merits, you won't get a worser hitrate

The argument is that you don't gain anything from that.
If Brutal activates 5% of the time, then it activates on 5% of your Triple Attacked hits and makes them Double Attacks. If it activates on 5% of your Single attack hits and makes them Double Attacks as well, then you haven't lost or gained anything. This assumes the 33/33/33 distribution people typically say Ridill has. Some people say it Single Attacks more than it triples, which would let Brutal be a small bonus, but not the +4-5% DoT it normally is.

Assault increases accuracy and attack, making landed hits stronger. Brutal basically negates itself by adding a bit more DA's at the cost of TA's.
Why would you choose to wear something that evens out to nothing? Wear assault, pixie, fowling, merman's, or anything else with attack/accuracy/strength/dexterity because you want to maximize per hit, you'll already be swinging extra.
