Summoner Spellcast Suggestions?

1) Do you Marduk's Dastanas? After desummoning it goes to the Standard set, which calls for Marduk. If you don't have Marduk, it can't change.
2) Should be going to Summoner's Horn. (again, assuming you have) I can't see why it wouldn't.
3) Just put the piece you want for your BPs in the BP sets.
4) Where you are putting the Desert Boots is only for gear when calling a Earth based avatar/spirit. It's too late tonight, but I'll post the code you need to add for Desert Boots.
5) Leave the Rostrums where you have them then. Put your AF2 / Austure in the BP sets
6) Guessing your hands are proccessing correctly. Do you have the right shorthand? Personally, I spell everything out in mine instead of the abbreviated version, it helps. Try Summoner's Bracers and see if that works.
7) Dunno why, nothing seems to be calling for those pieces.
8) Because you have: $lt;t>; needs to be: <t>; (Starts with &, not $)
9) only reason Dune boots should be equipping is if you are hitting something that is calling for an earth spirit or Titan. Make sure you don't have any old lingering scripts or macros calling for these pieces outside of your spellcast. Same with the hands.


That should solve a lot of the problems, then maybe we can start working out some of the rest. Kinda looking at this half asleep, so maybe with some fresh eyes I can see more mistakes.

Another thing, be careful with your capital letters. While spellcast may see the difference between Fay and fay, it's good practice to keep the Capital letters going. It's good XML syntax and makes it easier to read. Keeps the actual code, and what the code is calling for seperate.

1) I dont, I thought I had put smn. bracers there as standard? I believe I may be confused on what some of the sets are then. Are you refering to whats under the idle set? I dont see what that is for vs what the basic set is. But ill change it down there in the idle part.
2) Yea I have both horns, and it always goes back to evokers for some reason.
3) I think I was confusing. I want to have it so that the auraeate necklace and fidelity mantle are equiped while an avatar is out, but then say during a bp, it swaps the necklace out for torque or sacrifice torque, and then back to the necklace. But also when no avatars are out I want it to go to my merciful cape for mps and beak necklace. Sorry, does that make sense?

5) Hmm I thought thats what I had, Ill see if I can fix it then. I guess I should go through and delete the stuff I dont have, I never thought it might effect it still, but I guess it does?

8) Ok cool, I dont get the syntax for this, I read through the windower wiki on it, but it just confused me more, Ill change that.

Ok I went through and edited stuff, just a quick thing I noticed before going to bed:
Smning carby: no favor and still equips the smn torque instead of aureate necklace, and then on dismissing him it equips dune boots, carby mitts, and evokers horn lol :(

Also while using carby it doesn't swap into bp gear, specifically summoners bracers and summoners horn, what is wrong with my spellcast?

edit: just noticed in xarcabard its not swapping in horn for weather even when it should be, so im at aloss, apparently my sc is massive fail.

edit2 : So ive decided I was just going to delete all my sc stuff and redownload everything and hope for the best. The link on the windower site for sc dowload doesnt give the correct file (The one witht he gear picture) I dl it and tried to load it and it doesn't work. Did I miss a change or something?

edit3: I pulled the sc file from my recycle bin but re copied your xml and edited it again for myself dak. (the other one I had I deleted entirely). I summon carby and bp, bp timer is off again (wont even equip my summoner's horn) from what it should be, and desummon, and it equips my desert boots . . . . I didn't even type my desert boots in the new xml WTF? Im so confused at this point and at a complete loss as to what to do :(

I did quit the game a while back, but I have still been working on a final release of my Spellcast.

The one question I have, since I've been gone, is what is the optimum type of set for Alex/Odin? I really don't wanna have to read through the testing thread just for this....
when I quit there seemed to be an ongoing MP or Skill discussion. What won? Or is a hybrid best?

MAX MP. Although through testing it seems Odin's effectiveness Caps out at 900MP. But not confirmed. But either way, Max MP.
You're skill still plays a huge part I'm sure. But through reading all the forums. That's what I've deciphered.
