My server barely has any ammo for the lower levels, so its gonna be hard to level up my Markmanship as i move along in levels...I guess what i am asking is what should i do to possibly conserve ammo? Just melee for TP and than just my bullets for my WS? Kinda sucks that bullets are so hard to get at lower levels ><

If you're doing Cor your Rng should be at 37 anyways.. so just skillup marksmanship and cap it on Rng37. When you go to lvl Cor your marksmanship should be fine and dandy until 40~ish.

Not quite sure what lvl we're talking about but this should help you at a lower level anywho. If your Rng isn't 37.. get it to 37 since it's a super duper nice sub to have. happy.gif

You could always lvl the craft or find a friend with the craft and collect the ingredients to make your bullets. That's how I got through rng was lvling woodworking. Got rich in the process when the rng boom hit. But crafting now is much worse than when the game started. Not having your marksmanship at least close to cap is going to make your ws racc suffer too. So tp'ing to ws is sorta hit and miss then. imho, cor shouldn't be melee'ing tp for ws until you can get a hold of dusk, turban, joyeuse, speedbelt and if your lucky or rich m.kris. Generally speaking, guys that melee tp for ws are guys with around 19% haste + haste spell with joytoy or kris. Which means your probably talking about guys in meripo.
Probably just gonna have to suck it up and buy ammo in bulk when you can find it.

Get your Bastok fame up and buy the bullets from the NPC there.

It all depends on how low you're talking. Personally I found COR's ranged damage to be crap til 22.

If you already have marksmenship skill up from leveling Ranger or some other job, there's no reason to use guns at all pre-lvl 22. Unless you're needed to pull, which is just as stupid. The level 22 bullets shouldn't be that hard to obtain. They can be purchased from NPCs and should be available on the AH every now and then.

If you haven't leveled up your marksmenship yet then you better get working on Ranger. Shooting as a Corsair pre-lvl 22 with actually hurt your damage output. You will be much better off just swinging a sword the whole time. But once you hit lvl 22, things change in marksmenship's favor.
