Demon are the acid bolt of Archery. Scorpion are LOL at best. Kabura is your best arrow but you Archery RNG fail to use them.
I use demon/kabura sometimes. Dont say RNG fail to use them when you hide behind the Obow+DSB cheap shit. IMO im not blowing a shit ton on kabura too fucking waste them in merit pts. I know some people like too make one job super sweet. Some of us have 5 or 6 other jobs to keep up.

Im agreeing people shouldnt use scorp arrows after 60 but i dont agree that people should TP in kabura I do it sometimes but its when i like to "Show off". Too all people using Demon arrows for attack down.......... Make the pld keep shadows up and cap shield

Nope it's only a game no reason to get hurt. People find enjoyment in different ways. I prefer to outperform all of my competition, that is my fun.

If it is a monster of that caliber I'm not allowed to bring RNG anymore, I will just bring my DRK.

Kabura are cheap and easy to make, there is absolutely no reason why people should not be using these for atleast WS/Barrage. Scorpion arrows are lvl 40 for a reason. I don't mind people TP'ing in Demon but it definitely is not the best option.

Path I like most of your comments but this time your wrong. Arrows are absolutely dirt cheap nowadays. I remember when Scorpion were 10k a stack and Demon were 50-100k and Kabura were broken.

If everyone is trying that much harder, by your logic the party could attain and aditional 6k/hr?? That's pretty significant to me.

If everyone thought this way we wouldn't have 30k/hr meripo sessions.

You can't sit here and say they are easy to make like every ranger has Woodworking to 100 or what have you. Hell on bahamut people don't even make kabura anymore I have to beg old sellers to even get them. Kabura aren't cheap when last I check making money on this game for the most part is hard for some. Like I said up top most of us im sure you do also have to spend gil on other stuff so that other jobs aren't gimped. You cant sit here and say Mark>arch when the damage from gun/tpgain is crazy different.

If I need to specify each use for every bolt then you FAIL.

I understand what all the bolts do, but do you carry a few stacks of blind/venom/sleep as if they'll really make that big of a difference? As far as i'm concerned, all you do is meripo.

#2 I do realize the potential in bow, E/Demon is not as efficient as O/Dst. If your fulltiming Kab's then you are doing it right. Obow/Dst is cheaper and will outperform E/Demon and miles ahead of E/Scorp.

I guess your right, though I just look at it as everything is cheap since I made my come back. I do have the Smithing for Karimata and I have the WW to make the arrows myself. Karimata are easy to find on my server, I just consider it an easy synth.

When I say Marks>Arch it's due to the versatility, cost, and very comparable damage.

I made the suggestions of Obow/DST because it is cheaper than Ebow/Demon and performs just as well if and if not better.

I just feel like everyone is trying to justify their bow usage.

Yes I do when carrying an Obow. Acid/Blind/Sleep/Dst/Holy are what I carry when using bolts.

Some of my firsts include, first RNG on KI with full AF2, One of the first to prove that you can solo Gration on RNG, Solo'd BCNM's on RNG, Tanked damn near every mob because I pull that much hate lol. I have fought ever monster in this game minus PWarden and a few hard to find NM's.

I have done end game for 5 years now, your comment is laughable at best.

just for the record after the thread here i decided to give dsteel bolts a try in salvage. no quivers on AH and only one stack of bolts available >.>;
tried again to get dsteel bolts the next day for a sky farm but once again none available. i've always relied on demons because i have friends that can synth them for me and i can farm the mats easily but the AH usually has a fair supply of them as well (probably for the same reasons). as far as dsteel bolts go i'm going to have to find a friend with smithing so that I can keep my own supply of bolt heads because the bolts don't seem to pop up on the AH quite as frequently. in terms of kabura arrows, they're 15k a stack on asura.... nothing compared to the 120k they used to be but they're pretty rare to see on ah in large amounts. certainly couldn't full time them if you or a good friend aren't capable of the synth (although as you said those arrowheads aren't all that expensive in comparison to demon arrowheads when they're available).

Trust me Im not trying to justify anything to anyone I love bow over gun just because I love bow. Also noone crafts DSB or high level bullets. That and i have 8/8 archery merits lol.

well im on titan, an i rarely get merit invites on my rng, an even when i do its always /nin. No matter what DD job they want /nin which i dont really get... i dont mind /nin on my mnk since i end up tanking all the damn time, but on sam an rng id rather /war for the dmg bonus. Its kinda funny when you end up in pts where everyone is /nin an brd links birds, than dies, an complains about "WHY DIDNT ANYONE VOKE?" >.>; plus theres only like... 13 or so 75 RNG on at once c.c; I need a server where RNG is loved D:!!
