Model Viewer Download Destination

Is there a certain place that Model Viewer must be downloaded in order to work properly or can it be placed anywhere?

Thank you. ^^
When I open my model viewer or altana viewer, neither contains corsair, blue mage, dancer, or scholar. Is there another update somewhere?
Also, my model viewer says it cannot find any of the dats to make a model.
