I'm a healer. I use plugin ( though I'd rather avoid using plugin). I can deal with <stal> even if it sucks.
But don't ask me to make macros with people's names, that's just retarded, I'm already playing with 4 macro sets, I can't imagine when dealing with 3 tanks or switching tanks.
Though, people blinking aren't an issue to me, but I also see that many healers just fail a refreshing or keeping people hasted all the time.
That kind of player would probably get me killed if I was blinking every 10 seconds.
ACP Reward "Mirke Wardecors" What did you pick´d for your Nin ?

I was talking about having a tanking set that does not involve you blinking all the time. Street goes both ways- but I'm going to blink like crazy unless the healer specifically tells me that they're having a problem keeping up with that, and I've never had that happen.

Yeah, it's one blink... but it's often, which can be annoying for healers ( and don't argue <stal> unless you're a healer
).
Well, I think I'm gonna try to make a new set of macros with full blinking to see what happens, gonna own for sure if ppl behind can follow xD

i wouldnt dare, I'd rather suggest <stpt> with the use of arrow keys, which is how i do my work.

Fast cast/evasion.
Always thought Fast Cast was a no-brainer given that we don't have any other haste for that slot.

It's the same ( except <stal> works for alliance).
To be honest, this system isn't well done because the logic of this action is reversed. Instead of selecting a target then a spell, you select a spell then a target... which is totally stupid.
Dunno where SE pulled this off, might be good for some people, might be bad for others, healers should have the choice.

I know it's the exact same except with the limit of party members only, seriously.
and getting used to selecting a spell and then a target doesnt take long, unless you're stubborn.

Sorry to bump this old topic.
Anyone tried 3% crits and 10 acc for a blade: Jin body ? How do you think it would compare to Hauby +1 ?

I wouldn't. The difference would be nominal at best. You would get an occasional crit where you otherwise would not have done, but your non-crits wouldn't benefit from having that extra 10 Attack. Ultimately, there wouldn't be a meaningful difference between this and Haubergeon, so you're better off using it for something else, like a Fast Cast Utsusemi body or a Dual Wield TP body.

Well, I'm talking about haubergon +1.
The attack may or may not be a big deal, depending if it allows me to cap my min pDIF on a higher tier or not.
It depends on a lot of parameters I can't control such as mob's defense, defense down effects on it such as dia, buffs I receive, food possibilities, berserk and warcry being ready...
If I'm lacking 1 to 13 attack points to break a pDIF tier, the Hauby +1 is indeed better. If I can't reach the next tier, than I guess the critical hits would be better. According to the maths, getting a crit is a 19% increase in damage, reaching a tier2 min pDIF is a 10% in damage. Getting both would of course be ideal, but it's so situational
I don't know how to compare the chances to be 1-13 atk short to 3% crit rate. To be honest; I guess both are slim.

Mirke Wardecors
DW+3 Acc+10
is what i went with, but seriously i am considering redoing fight for fast cast and something else. The acc+10 i get when using SH and i WS in Haub(when solo), and using the Wardecors and WS in Haub (in party) i really don't notes a difference from just using my Haub full time in PT. Tho i have not used it in a very long time(over 6months) i actual get more out put with my togi* then my Wardecors for TP in merit. If i do redo i'll get "Fast Cast"+"Enmity+5" for Utsu, Stun. I love Wardecors for a sub in body, but full time it's 1) ugly and 2) should of had straight "Haste+3~4" like helm and legs not DW.
*my over all gear is fine but in a 1h with togi and 1h with Wardecors, togi was ~10% better for tp the Wardecors with the Augments i had on it! go figure

You noticed I necro-bumped this topic right ?
I necro-bumped to know if anyone tried to make a Jin body... but I don't know if the "what did you do with this body" is still valid.
