why does there need to be another ff mmo??, :/ i mean with all the new players on ffxi whatre they gunna do just shut it down , or keep it up so a few hardcore players will stick around?, why ruin for all the noobs? its still a good game, every game has good and bad thigns about it :/

Square screwed the playerbase with their "Fuck you, I'm God" outlook that gives the customers zero rights or recourse & vague notions as to what's unacceptable or not. im just so confused by this, are they changeing 11 or making an entirley new game, and if its gunna be ps3 exclusive thats retarded, for ps2 players thatd kinda ruin it

SE learning from what they did right and what they did wrong from 11.

oh and no character transfer.

I didnt get a character transfer from FF9 to FF10. bad example.

But think of it like this: if this is a new game and if your transfer your old character, then wouldn't your hard work be useless anyhow due to different level caps, different battle system, different armor attributes, different everything.

Its like everyone is asking to play the original duck hunt cartridge on a wii. thats just silly.

how so lol, not everyone can afford top notch gaming computers nowadays, this is what warhammer learned after releasing a game that takes a serious computer to run it, 14 looks like this will happen also lol im gunna giggle

PS2 didn't hold FFXI back, lazy programmers and a crackpot of a dev team did.
Five years from now it will probably be ps3 limitations.

They are making a new game. I'm pretty sure FFXI will still be and around but players of XI have been asking for both a graphical upgrade and successor to XI for quite some time so this should be it.

i liked the battle system and partying aspect of FFXI. played WoW it was boring because of the soloing, but i did like the option of little quests for exp so i think that would be a great idea.
i hope they have a class like ranger where primary mode of attack is ranged weapons but pleaseeee dont make them suck like after the nerf, its what made me quit FFXI in the first place. male mithras pleasee! and please get rid of the 24 hour pop HNMs makes it alot harder for career monks with a life outside of the game to get their black belts =(.

ok i thought of a few things about what made me mad about FXI

less gap between rich and poor, none of this you have to play or 18 hours a day to get money or rip people of.
(people with no lifes or RMT abused the NM system in a way (real players did not do it in purpuse though where rmt did) led to the big gap

im sure they are going to have some sort of relic system...

with going with 1, make it more linked to skill rather then luck, more like the mythic way of doing it without the 100 000 amps and the 30 000 gem thing.

maybe some solo or low man thing you can do with friends that take time?

no more of this lets make 10000 items, 100 are useful and only 10 inv spots to put it in.

stop with stuff like diferent stats that give close results like 10 int and 5 MAB arguments, one does better then the other depending on sitation and witch ever one does do better its like 0-15 damage points different. when doing something like 1500 and 1505 or w/e 0-15 poitns of damage is hardly note worthy. this styems e how the different stats fit in... kind of lame ( i really want to point to lack of testing or dev team slaping random stats on stuff)

What I'd really like to see:

1. More character customization

2. Assault like point system for ALL Events! It sucks to be with a shell for 3-4 months, not get anything, then the shell dissolves! Time to start over with a new shell.. same thing happens, 1-2 months shell breaks because 'leader' gets EMO or too much drama, whatever. Give me fucking points so I can earn my gear! Also not waiting 3-4 YEARS FUCKING RL YEARS for a piece of armor to drop in places like Dynamis! Get 'dynamis points', choose your relic, off you go! Happy people!

3. Popable NM's, ALL NM's! FUCK YOU CHARYBDIS!

4. Better drop rates, not necessarily 100%, but higher then 10% c'mon!

5. NO SUB JOBS! I hate seeing the subjob system dictate the main jobs roll in the game! If people couldn't use /thf, think about the popularity of thieves! They would be the only ones able to stick hate onto someone. People could stop hiding behind /nin and people would be able to use deeper strategies.

6. level 99 level cap and RAISE/LIFE ITEM USABLE ON OTHER PLAYERS! (phoenix down etc etc)

7. Lower exp to level and more exciting/involved combat!! Yes, lets sit in the same area for 7-8 hours doing the SAME DAMN THING swinging... and swinging... and swinging... ZOMGWS! Swing.. swing.... swing... WSAGAIN! Healers, same boring gameplay.

8. More solo content, waiting days and WEEKS at a time for a party invite because your job isn't one of the 'good' ones is ridiculous!! I also cant stand relying on other people! It would be an accurate test of patience and determination of the players. The whiners wont be able to handle it and leave early on, not like we want people like that in the later levels anyway.

9. Better job Balance!! No more loljobs

10%? i seen some stuff go into the .5% range ( getting nothing for over 200 kills, salagve is fail) that shit needs to get the fuck out i would love to have everyhitng be a 10% or more

1. Yes crafting should be fun

2. Getting items from a mob should be easy not a pain

3. Traveling should be fun and easy not paying a mage to get u, or taking ur whole game time riding a chocobo.

4. No more doing quest just to take an air ship from jeuno to wherever. there more but some of u listed them already tongue.gif
