I was just wondering what the pld community thought of this body piece as I only occasionally see plds wearing it. It has similiar stats to ares body, but is it as good? Is it useful for pld and if yes, when can/should it be used?

Ares' usefulness comes through its refresh really. The rest of the nice stats are sprinkles. The str/att on Ares would shine more than they do if it had acc. As far as Shadow goes, its an ok piece. Really had it been +10 dex or even +5 dex, it be the best tp piece for pld outside of Ares(refresh if needed) and Homam for excalibur plds.

Due to its acc, its on par with nq hauby if not lower. Id say on par as the extra str/att and regen would carry its weight to make up the missing acc(coz youd be eating sushi anyhow) however the price and probably points wouldnt justify it. Save your points for odin drop If you have odin, then you already have a useful macro and town gear

Sadly as many as Ive seen wear a hauby. And I dont mean that, as in a lot. On one hand I can count how many plds on this server are doing it right (NA wise) the rest main valor and Mbody JP get away clean from critism on that one, they all sport Ares though ive seen still a few with Mbody and valor
