DA+1 /DA+1%.... Diference? Whats the Diference between the +1 and +1%

Some equipment gives u DA+2, we all know what armor it is..
But others give u a certain %.
My question is, Whats the difference between the +1 trait and the +1%?
i guess i want to know just how much % a +1 to the trait gives me, that all. thanks in advance ^^
