On a quick side note! (because it's not worth a new thread!)

I have a kraken club, haste gear, and some accuracy gear. Meriting as WHM is pretty boring, and this sounds like it would be more fun.

To main heal while melee-ing, should I sub NIN (kclub offhand with a high damage club main hand for decent Mystic Boon damage) or SCH (kclub mainhand -- lousy Mystic Boon damage but access to strategems and sublimation)?

Marinara Pizza or meaty foods?
Accuracy gear to start, and then gradually swap into haste gear?

While using Auspice with Afflatus Misery, do I need to get hit before I cast Auspice, or does the recorded damage taken not have an effect on Auspice?

If you have a Kraken Club and intend to heal a merit party while meleeing, absolutely sub Ninja and use a strong mainhand club (Perdu Wand, Morgenstern, even Brass Jadagna).

I'd use Marinara Pizza, personally. Chances are good that even with backline buffs (let's assume one Minuet OR Chaos Roll), you won't be capping out the better meat options on White Mage and the Accuracy will certainly help as you're building your Auspice bonus.

Auspice is not affected by the damage taken under the effects of Afflatus Misery.

Martial wand gives a 50% damage bonus on mystic boon.

Even a Templar Mace would work, the point is not to mainhand or single-wield a Kraken Club for this.

If focusing purely on boon, mainhanding Martial is the way to go.

For food, Path has a point. We lack serious attack, and now much gear gives it to us. Pizza would work quite well i think.

If you're main healing a meripo then yes, Martial wand is like our version of Hagun.

As far as food goes, I still stick to sushi in meripos. I have about an 85% accuracy rate, with my gear focusing mainly on haste (23%).

However if I'm doing something like farming Ro'Maeve water on WHM/NIN (Something I do quite often, just make sure you farm the 'kirin ffs pots room' rather than near Olla since the pots near Olla pop are mostly VT ie. rape and the kirin room are all T), I use pizza on those.
