i was dumping money into making cursed mitts -1 so i can sell for 6-7 mil and help pay for my 12 stack of imperial wootz

is this a bad idea?as in will i end up losing money on this?

last time i crafted cm-1 it was pretty much break even.. it was like a 'savings account' sort of.. when u hq u just get your money back

im hoping i get lucky though.. but i was wondering if its not a viable method because if you lose money then itd be better to spam craft nobles tunics or something..

and these days it seems like square enix broke hq rates to get us all to buy gil

You always gotta be careful with flooding -1 crafts. There is a finite amount of people willing to pay for -1's.

A friend crafter got his alchemy up to 100+?? at one point and was doing the calculations to sell Blood EQ. He figured he would only have to invest a small amount to turn around enough money for a Kraken, so he started spamming those items. In doing so, he flooded the market and screwed with the pricing.

So, as long as you are cool with controlling the flow and realizing that "spamming" cursed items will only result in you carrying around 5-10 -1 cursed items, then you should be fine. Like all things, only in moderation.

cursed mitts -1 are a tier 0 synth.. i highly doubt you'll end up carrying 5-10 of them

you have to spam tem to get just 1 hq. they are worth around 6.5-7mil on fairy, and yes people do buy them

i just have to make 1 pair, sell them, then sell my genie and my sha'ir manteel, and possibly my igqira huaraches for another 2mil and i'll have my ingot money.

and how he posted a ton of threads showing how he got mitts -1?

Anyways let's focus on the topic of this forum, if anyone here has 100+3 cloth and experience with tier0's it's just a simple question; Is it worth the gil to dump your money into Tier0's and expect at least break even or - if lucky - money made.. Or is there always a chance of losing a shit ton of gil and it being not worthwhile investment?

I'm in a position based on stuff you said before that you will ignore people what they said, and you kind of did that here too and the fact you should know what to based on the fact you supposedly got 100 in the first place. last i checked you where trying to show you where better then me cuz you hqed mitts at 94 or w/e when I siad i did not Hq mitts but HQed dalmy?

and as always the item depends on your sever econ, etc.... why i hate questions like this it is something you need to figure out your self.
