How many hits are you generally landing with that setup, Teissa, and in what situations? If you're actually able to eat meat (and, for the sake of argument, I'll count Marinara Pizza in that category), the STR isn't a bad thing. If you're whiffing a bit, though, there are a few substitutions to consider. Personally, I'd consider using Usukane Sune-Ate simply because the functional difference between the two options would be rather slim and you'd benefit from the additional Enmity on Usukane.

fucking "Because I'm a taru"
Protip: people realised Race doesnt really matter in ~2005. Using more STR like usu legs over byakkos is gimping a much more importanat Stat on a multi-hit weaponskill.... Accuracy.

Mogar: I'm inclined to agree
Path: Nothing particularly difficult to hit, limbus/dynamis/bc type fights (enm/ksnm), i'd say meriting but I have a BB monk with full merits so it's a rare joyous occation someone asks me to bring Ninja, lol. Through now that you point out the enmity deal, I feel like an idiot for forgetting about it. I guess not being able to go on ninja to stuff for half a year has killed my logic for it. I haven't tried pizza on Ninja and use it often on Monk, so i should probably try those instead of subs. I'm fairly sure I land all hits, but I should probably go on a tangent this weekend and just Jin stuff to see for sure.
I'm guessing for harder stuff I should just toss as much acc if i'm using meat dishes, and/or switch to a str/atk build and eat sole sushi?
Konda: Yes, I get it. No need to shove it down my throat. I thought the +10 atk and +5 str would outweigh the loss of 10 dex, through now that I think it over it was a bad idea.
Thanks for the advice guys, everything else is fine for meat dish build besides Hizayoroi and Denali then?

I'm surprised you get to merit more on your Monk than your Ninja. Here on Alexander, if you're not a two-handed weapon user, merit parties (pickups, anyhow), will beg for a Ninja to come and Provoke off the puller, whereas my Monk can often languish in spite of its gear.
What do you have available for gloves? Assuming you're in a position to eat pizza (e.g., you're not fighting Colibri), you certainly shouldn't need Enkidu's Mittens, but I'm wondering if you're skimping on a little Attack. It really depends on the buffs you're getting, though. If you're eating Pizza or Subs and getting Minuet IV, the STR could certainly be helpful, especially since you really should be putting on Byakko's Haidate for the DEX and Accuracy combined on Blade: Jin, but if you're getting double March as I so often do, you might find that Ochi~ Kote or Bandomusha Kote work better. Of course, you're doing Limbus, so you perhaps you can get Ninja Tekko +1 at some point?

I do static merits with friends so usually they ask me to bring sam/drg polearm for birds, and monk for everything else even through both mnk and nin are fully merited. I've got good warrior friends and they don't mind doing the first vokes because they're good at keeping themselves alive, and if they're not my mage friends can compensate lol.
We also merit outside of Aht Urghan (crazy i know) if bird and mamool camps are full. Bird designed MMM merits is reasonably good experience at 10-12k per run in 20-25 minutes, so its a decent 24k an hour. That and you can actually take a 5 minute breather instead of having to work towards chain 200 or higher, or stop at the MH/AH. Its the not end of the world if you need to go take a piss for example.
For gloves, i'm pretty sure I have all options, I have....
Usukane Gote, Koga Tekko, Ninja Tekko +1, Enkidu's Mittens, Alkyoneous's Bracelets (lol? i use it for Kamu anyway), Ochiudo's Kote.
Bandos dont want to drop for me for some reason. Songs depend on the camp. I usually get March/Mad or double march, we usually don't minuet cause in Fairy camps are often full so have to pace the mobs so that we don't kill them so fast that were waiting on spawns or having to jack mobs from another camp or long pulls in mamool.

Aren't Polearm Sams supposed to go Sam/War?
I for one love being able to voke-> penta and having berserk/warcry is a bit much for me to think of losing. That and the mad double attacks.
I remember reading that the best way to /drg was with a Hagun.
But that's just me
I'm sure Sam/drg is perfectly fine, and what sam doesnt enjoy jumping
.

Oh i definitely agree, but with static merits kind of just have to worry about having fun and jump is fun! That and my gf gets on my case when i'm zerked and I eat a pecking on the off chance my third eye macro lags and gets me killed. Kill rate is maintained in either sj through for bird camps, so I just take whichever I feel or if we need a voker as you said.
