I was thinking of the Champion's galaea as a multi-hit WS piece for jobs like DRG and DRK. I posted a suggestion for a possible combo here.

Another possibility is a TP/WS piece in one for RNG since I'm taking that to 75:
STR +4 / Weaponskill Accuracy +15
Ranged Accuracy +10 / Ranged Attack +5
So hard to decide because that RNG one and the DRG above look really good. >_<

I love this expansion already because of the Moogle thugs. xD Hopefully it's as funny as the pictures were (I literally LOL'd)

I like the hats, too. Hard pressed to decide off the bat what I'm going to snag, though. I'll have to poke around the PUP forums and see what's big when I get back home from Paris.

It makes you wonder what those Moogles do whenever you're not in the Mog House all the time. tongue.gif

The second to last image, where the moogles are lined up with one hand at the belt and the other stretched forward... that's a Yakuza greeting.

edit: Ref: "Lone Wolf and Cub" took place in Edo-era Japan. I doubt they still use that sign (couldn't google it).

This expansion looks better than the last one already. And I love the look on the new armor pieces. xD That Champion's galea cracks me up. Looks like something from tactics or something.. I'm undecided which stats to put on it, though..

Edit: Totally reminds me of this ->

Just don't have mindless killing of random mobs for key items and I'm sold!

Oh lord, please no. lol If I have to compete over <too weak> normal mobs again for key items I'm gonna strangle someone. lol That BS with the yags/orcs/quads/gobs for key items was about the dumbest thing SE has ever done. They make everything up to ACP crap easy then that final BC a bitch and a half if you don't have SMN RNG PLD or WHM. Normal melees are kinda screwed on that fight.

I think the new helms look great, actually. I'll take odd-looking armor (with limitations of course) that looks interesting over plain, generic medieval armor any day of the week. The Anwig Salade is the only one I take issue with, because of the usual body armor the jobs wear, not to mention the fact that this is "supposed" to be paired up with the Mirke Wardecors, so it makes you wonder why they thought a metal helm design was a good idea.

While I didn't like the Mirke Wardecors look at first, I grew to appreciate the look later. I think the Nuevo Coselette or whatever looks decent, too. I still hate the look of the mage body armor because of the way it's animated, though- it looks like the coattails were made of cardboard or something.

I guess my hate for ACP is no mystery, so I of course will take a look-and-see attitude with this one. The helms themselves have some pretty cool options, I admit, but I don't want to spend $10 for a in-game hat. A story being lighthearted isn't really an excuse for having no effort put into it, though I do think that in short-story format something light hearted works much better, especially when it's not a story we've been waiting six years to see.

It's not bad on Tarutaru. It's not bad on women. On males (at least Elvaan and Hume, don't think I've seen a Galka in it yet), it's an atrocity. Given how much of the population are Elvaan and Hume males... yeah, it's a bit of a problem.

I'm torn between the snapshot, weaponskill accuracy, and r.acc/r.att bonus... for rng.

It's worse on Galka.

At least they covered up the open neck when they copied it from Denali. Denali and bison jackets are incredibly feminine looking on males. lol Mirke isn't too bad, really. I like how it looks, male or female.

It can't destroy the wonderful ending to Aldos story that CoP made, so it has hope.

I certainly wont be buying it until I hear it's worth while.

EDIT: Oh, nevermind. Totally buying this.

Shame that hat looks a tad silly.

WS acc and racc/ratk would be good for my rng or cor.
And the VIT/shield skill and fast cast +3% would be good for my pld.

May go pld, and keep after cor afv2 for cor hat.

Mirke looks awesome on my galka. *shrug* However, as for the hats.. it's kind of annoying the mages and the heavy armor classes got a relatively new model, wheras the light armor classes are shafted with a terribly recolored Voyager sallet.

Well, the overall shape is simillar, but on a mithra, I'm glad they took out those 'ear bumps'. TBH, I'd be more glad if the visor covered the eyes like the voyager sallet. That's the best part!
