I'm going with the 10acc 5atk / 3% haste 3% Snapshot - very good addition to THF gear arsenal imo

I'll take a crack at this, I guess. Spoilers due to fuck wall o' text.
Spoiler! --Click here to view--
I'm choosing the +15WS acc, +10 acc options for salade.
Here's my current armor, minus head armor to account for salade, and PCC as neck to analog a WS gorget: http://ffxigear.com/?ref=14730
I consider myself a pretty middle of the road THF as far a WS set goes, there are a lot of obvious improvements to be made. Please note my accuracy isn't stunning. Add +25 to that, as well as 14.4 to account for merits, and it becomes much more respectable.
Now I'm going to make a super tough, bad ass THF WS set (but still obtainable gear set) without a +25 acc salade: http://ffxigear.com/?ref=14731
Miles better, much nicer stuff, etc, etc. You still fall short of the acc cap on something as rudimentary as g.colibri, never mind something like mamools, or even gears in salvage.
Basically, what I'm trying to convey, that can be summed in a sentence and not a stupidly long post is this:
If your accuracy on WS is not capped, you'll benefit from a +25 acc salade more than +15 acc, and +2% WS damage. If your accuracy is capped and you have n.head, more power to you. If your accuracy is capped on WS, and you do not have n.head, this is a very decent substitute.
As THF, even with near perfect gear, merits, etc you will not be capping accuracy on anything worth its salt without a.) sushi, or b.) pizza (barely on pizza, sometimes not quite.)
Feel free to tear me a new one if I've made any mistakes/I am doing THF wrong. (Also this entire post ignores Shark Bite/Mandalic Stab, but what the shit who cares. There are options better than anything you can make with salade for those WS.) NINJA EDIT: This is also ignoring the whole crab sushi vs. meat vs. pizza argument.

Going to also be nice using the acc/haste TpGain piece if using the new Red Curry Buns, mmm.
I'm going to give this a go in merits, Thf/War 2xMarch,Chaos(w/Drk)/Corsair's when I have a chance.

Sure why not
Might actually be nice to try out at LaVaule[s], but I guess anything experimental in merits these days is more for fun rather than actual increased exp/hr usually.

I have yet to see a full stack of red curry buns on our server. Since the recipe calls for red curry, and dragon meat is a bit of a commodity, I'm not sure how cost effective these are. Yellow Curry buns have been a nice couerl sub substitute for me though.
I sat on my hat choice for a week and finally picked the haste 3/snapshot/acc+10/attk+5 augment, and I don't regret it at all. I've been able to viably use the raparee harness quite a bit more than before, rather than it just be an utsusemi macro piece.
edit: I spoke too soon, a stack of red curry buns is going for 150k on our AH. Definitely not a G. Colibri food

Rap+hat = 7% haste, 10 acc
Turban+homam = 5% haste 15 acc
2 haste vs 5 acc is pretty close in a lot of circumstances, idk which i'd go for lol

yeah, corazza doesn't do anything other than that...
Corazza + Hat = 3% haste +25 acc
If you need acc... hello?

I'd love to use curry often at non-birds (I wouldn't spend that kinda money for ls stuff), but thf has lower attack values than other melee and if there is an absence of chaos/minuet it's kinda meh. So I think I'd test out thf/war w/ this in merits with drk chaos roll which should about cap pDif roughly with zerk up. For anything traditional I still use pizza, (or coeurl sub for a lot of non exp stuff). Actually right now I've got all of these foods in my satchel:
Pizza+1
Red Curry Buns
Coeurl Sub
Squid Sushi
Carbonara
Mithkabobs
Crab Sushi
And I do use all of these (or w/ r.curry, will).
I think usually equipping rapp harness will defeat the purpose of using the anwing. Turban/ACP v Kupo/Rapp comes down to 5 attack and 2% haste vs 3% dw, 5 dex, and 5str for /nin. I think I'll keep my current builds and add another build. One build will have kupo, acp, toreador's. Then the build I'm using now, tubran, acp, toreador's (though making this switch might just be splitting hairs..). My other build stays turban, rapp, ulthalum's. And feint turban, rapp, triumph ring, and justice torque swap.
Dk yet how many TP builds I'll actually bother having and what they'll be..Now that I think of it when I buy CuchyMantle back I'll use a cuchy, acp, kupo build, but perhaps keep my current main tp build (w/ attack mantle instead of cuchy). Do I want to always use cuchy when I'm using kupo..guess that's the question.

I agree with you, but unfortunately I had to augment my ACP body for PLD
I've been meritting on mamools quite a bit lately, and I've had profoundly fewer acc issues than before using the harness at Jade Sepulcher. I had an LS mate parse me with the corazza on and with the harness, and he informed me my damage contributions dipped a little when I was wearing the corazza. Ultimately, it just seemed like overkill with the corazza even on Lurkers since I was applying Feint every time. In lieu of pizza, I may try curry next time at Mamools, although I suspect I may need to throw on the corazza then

what the fuck... Rap vs ACP body? Are you all fucking nuts? Rap isn't even > Homam except when capped Accuracy and when you're capped accuracy you're probably not in a merit PT so you're not getting full songs so the +3A is probably doing more than the haste i fucking hate you all you're cunts and smell of shit aaaaaaaah!!!!!!!

Somebody needs to take their riddilin. I already said I hadn't augmented the ACP body for THF otherwise it'd be a no brainer. I don't really believe that a THF should put on the corazza and never take it off. Especially with this new hat, and doubly so if you're eating pizza or other acc food. Whenever I land feint I definitely use the harness for at least 30 seconds. I'm not sure why there are so many harness haters.

I was quite drunk last night so as such don't stand by any of my comments. I still don't know what riddilin is. I think Valium might sort me out better though. The reason I think I hate rap so much is because I used to think that Corazza was 2.5% 3A which is about a 4.5% DPS boost on top of whatever else you're getting. idk I just don't see many times when you're doing something you need to be concerned about gear for that you'd need rap. The feint thing is a good idea though. I've not really XPed on my thief since I got back and i've not fully meritted feint. Maybe I should do so and get some more use out of my Rap.

Read through this thread, prepping myself to level up THF to 75.
I have a Heca Cap from WAR, but the AGI+6 WS Dmg+2% seems like one of the best situational options for TA / TAWS, because there isn't much else out there with that much AGI on headpiece right?

Yeah but lolagi head piece. I wouldn't even do the math on that. Heca cap is great. Even if it proves to be decent, there are other options that will do more for thf in general. I'm sure this would be great for TA+Mandalic.
