Basically what the topic states. i have both RNG/WAR 70+ so subbing them isn't a problem, also my NIN is 60. i originally was going to come back NIN, but after looking at the job changes and whatnot, THF seems like it would be loads more fun, that is depending on the one factor that made me quit FFXI in the first place: finding party invites.

My THF is somewhere in the 50's ( i remember wearing one or two AF its been like 3yrs though)

Its easier in a sense if you want to solo/duo exp with the field of valor and campaign battles

But at the same time you wont get as many pt invites since many have turned to the above mentioned events to get their exp instead of parties. However, you could Sync your way up with the level sync option.

Leveling thief is awful.

If things get really bad, make a Qufim Island party and level sync yourself. Just cap your dagger skill and evasion skill once you get to Lv.75.

60-75 was really a nightmare. It took me the better part of 6 months to do that bit. You can pretty much put your flag up and not get an invite for days and days. The best thing is to make your own parties and as others suggested Level Sync. It really is one of the worst jobs for invites now. Even DRG and RNG get good invite now due to their piercing bonus/2hander. And at least PUP can solo exp pretty well.

Now that I've got it at 75, it was certainly worth it and I'm having a lot of fun soloing stuff. It's nice to be able to farm things and not feel like I'm wasting my time because other people can get 3 times as many drops in the same time on another job. It's nice that you can get exp whilst farming stuff because THF is usually very unwelcome in a merit party.
