Okay so this Blue Mage that hasn't even reached level 75 and he is already giving me crap that he can beat my Ninja in a conflict match. I would like some suggestions on what i should do to win in a 1 on 1 fight against him. I have all the Ninjas
skills capped. Please give me
tips and
suggestions on what i should do when fighting agaisnt a Blue Mage. Anything from what I should sub, positioning my self on the feild, what time I should cast spells, and how i should cast them, when I should attack with my katanas, items I should use and, what to expect from a Blue Mage. Please post your suggestions like a sopisticated nice person.
Statistics on the Blue mage- He is level 58 I have all his account info so I'm updated on the spells he has, Gear what marco's he uses, and I know for a FACT he will NOT get Disvemberment, Cannon ball, OR Regurgitation. or the other High teir Blue Mage spells.
As for the Weapons I'm going to use I will list below, I don't feel like putting my other gear up
Weapons - Is a
Seito with the
enhancment of Ensilence on it, and a Mamushito +1 on the off hand.
I can also sub any job for they are all above the lvl 37

don't try and be cute with those katana's. use your DD setup. if he's not getting Disseverment, that's a big obstacle out of the way right there. that poison is murder.
I'd probably go NIN/DNC and kite the bastard around. only dotting in to swing twice and gtfo'ing before he can cast anything. next, be aware of what he's casting and what it does. if it's a magic based AoE (like heat breath or self destruct), probably not a good idea to run in ja?
Other option is NIN/THF. since he doesn't sound like his gear is gonna be stellar, a good Kurayami can make him whiff 3 or 4 of his hits with Hysterric barrage (if you let him cast it). Jubaku as well.
basically, if the BLU ain't gonna get all his spells, doesn't have sea (so homam is out of the picture), you can outlast him. but again, if he plays his cards right he can still win. but he's sounding like a fail BLU already.
also: don't sub RDM. Silence is not going to stick, and even if it does, the duration does not make it worthwhile.
