I realized the other night that I never installed ffxi when I got my new PC. I quit for the last time a bit after the salvage bans but had this huge nostalgia attack last night about 2am to go run to DA or do something in ffxi. wow is boring, we don't have mass gatherings for HNM and then MPK fests for hours.

anyone I know still play? :x

lot of people still play, a lot jumped ship and went to another server and others commited mass ritualistic suicide (went to go play WoW)

i think the mass gatherings and mpk along with the drama it provided, made me enjoy the game to the fullest. no one is really competitive anymore, but the game has changed, and i must change with it. been playing alot of halo3 and call of duty and some wow, 30 days left orzzz.

ya i jumped servers too. had quit, came back, quit-ish, then came back and transferred. now i dunno what i'm going to do. i still have ghan but not sure i want to really play anymore since so many of my friends quit and went to wow.

also- you live in renton? it smells kinda funny there (!)

My nostalgia attack came bout 5 months back. Miss FFXI like mad. Ironically I quit like 4 days after I got SEA access, even had my justice sword. Meh.

Good times though, and I better see you all on FFXIV!

What do you reckon on people managing to hit the same server as people they knew from FFXI? Better still, what are the chances on everyone keeping the same name?

I'm "Dimi" on Carbuncle. I think you were already gone off Carby when I made this character so I don't have you on new flist.
I miss you! I miss our big Asgard family!
