Nothing is wrong with it per se, plenty of people playing, but the game peaked years ago and consequently KI activity is greatly reduced.

Ah ok but who are these TDG? The only Link shell i remmeber with a T and G in their name were ThoseGuys/Girlls or Gurls i dont remmeber how they spelled it. And why all the drama amongst shells? Whats the reason?

I have been looking at pics of the new Online FF and it looks so cool visually it seams like they will use the same races Guess which one im gonna be .

Anyways im really far behind not only in FFXI but in the whole gaming department but meh what can i do hopefully i can join you guys in the new FF in 2010 that would be great I miss everyone and everything about the game even the drama. Well not so much the drama but my friends defenetly. So 2010 Lannas big comeback comming soon

But anyways back to Fairy and the whole TDG who are those guys? Is it a new LS?

Ah so its no longer Chiniese its Italians and stuff? Whats up with Bots? Like the only bots i remmeber BACK WAY BACK in the day were fishing bots. But i dont know why people use them if they know they will get banned. Me personally i have never had that issue or ever had the temptation to try bots because i always played on my PS2 And what do these bots do? Like i said i only Remmeber the fishing bots i have never seen any other bots. Unless the bots are not that abvious and you cant really nottice them being used.

Also i have seen on other topics about ramdom bannings for supposedly no aparent reason (No one ever does anything wrong) and this LM-17 Error message wassup with that?

SE seem (notice i say "seem") to be in control more than when you were around, it started when they made it harder to MPK and then they brought in their task force to tackle RMT and they have ever since been banning accounts in the thousands every few months! This together with the departure of some notorious tyrants = no drama = dead forum!

Now it seems they have become a little gun hoe with their banning because of apparent "suspicious behaviour". But lets face it... no body believes all those threads where people have said
"OH NOES I HAVE BEEN BANZD AND I DID NUFFIN WRONG!!"

Though they may have appalling customer service, I seriously doubt SE would be dumb enough to ban a whole load of innocent customers who pay their subscriptions every month! It would be a senseless loss of revenue and we all know SE is all about the money!!!!

On the othe other note when i was reading about the banning stuff most of the people that got banned were supposedly friends in the FL and stuff i mean what are the odds that a bunch of friends get banned for no apparent reason? Then again i cant really judge people but it does seam suspicios that a group of people that are friends get banned simultaneously. Dont you think?

not so much that they bot like no 1s business, but they'll spend the time nearly wiping to kill anything, if not actually wiping.

picture SD when they first tried their luck in DA, but actually get claim almost everyday. they're just 1 of those shells that shouldnt be. they've been doing better at actually killing stuff. its still /facepalm or full of laughs to watch when its not something as easy as faf.

They're the shell everyone hates because it's all the people the good shells denied so they just bot everything and take forever to kill.

And then in a year or two when this most recent generation of mainstream shell HNMers (who were the noobs and rejects a year or three ago and whose shells probably have their moments even now--don't be fooled) has washed out, maybe with the exception of some of the hardcore no-lifers, ex-up-and-coming-TDG members will be the well-fed guys in those same mainstream shells bitching at the next generation of crappy players in upstart shells who know how to bot better than they play. More or less that'll be the case, also taking into account hostile recruitment practices, as the pick of relatively well-geared and experienced players in the pool becomes slimmer and slimmer as the game gets older and older. Exception being maybe TG, who *seem* to have done the smart thing by circling the wagons and going more exclusive rather than less. Anyway, it's a beautiful and highly entertaining thing.

So they are the rejects of all the other Elite LSs? I dunno but 2 me botting is really not fair to people that dont use them or to people on Game consoles like PS2 and such. Elite players have no need for bots and such things. And maybe people may dissagre with me but if there are High ranked LSs that have players that bot then to me they are no better than these guys that everyone is talking about.

Anyways funny thing is that i played for SO SO SO many years and i NEVER got to kill some HNMS or Gods or anything. Mainly cuz i got addicted to Ballista and to soloing almost imposible mobs to solo that was my thing. Also i liked helping people with stuff but HNMS Dynamis and stuff like that never really called my attention. :/

Wait haha they leave during battle? Thats F ked up haha. I have fought hard NMs and to be honest if i see everyone around me die and im a job that cant raise i rather just die and lose some EXP and be loyal to those who fought with me. To me that would be the fair thing to do. But leaving and abandoning your friends or LS or anyone in time of need (Unless D/Ced) is bullshit gameplay tactics for nabs like back in the day when people used to just dump out of a party without saying crap. I mean there are areas were its better to flee when in trouble and come back to help the fallen depending on the job (Or i guess its the THF in me thinking ) but jobs like THF in certain areas when you cant do nothing and you are outmatched badly its usually better to P/D Blink up and flee and try to zone and then rezone and /shout RAISE PLZ NABS i mean Friends DOWN @ <pos> WE NEED A MEDDIC!
