Zoraal Ja's axe X 2 Effects of Dual Wielding to Reward vs /whm

Was wondering since someone found me a Zoraal Ja's Axe.

Shows its not rare/ex at all.

Would it be better for a reward set to have the extra +10% reward on /nin then the extra 5 mind with /whm and pallas shield which is +3.5% reward.

I may have answered my own question, but would it be valid/feasible in any solo situation?

20% boost or 13.5% boost and 5 extra mnd
hint: 5 mnd comes nowhere close to 6.5%
The double Zoraal jas are win.

It wouldn't hurt having both readily avaible though, in case you need to go /whm for something. Yeah I figured out one of these sets back when I was big into BST.

was just checking as far as feasibility regarding being actually able to go /nin to solo NM's to make full effect of this vs /whm which is usually taken due to healing factor and extra +chr for charm from sub while soloing.

wow.. the reward stuff really stacks out..

Axe x2 : 20%
Ogre Gloves: 10%
Monster Gaiters :20%

thats 50% right there..

and if you're using Zeta assuming a base of 350+60mind, thats what.. 615 HP healed... which is alot..
tho.. i wonder if im calculating this wrong... is the % calculated before or after MND is added?
410 with 43.5% Reward boost is 588 HP.. and if my calculation is correct, 5 MND adds 15HP... which makes 603...

Are you guys calculating this right? When I've used Reward on my Beastmaster with any of several subs (White Mage, Dancer, and Thief), the result has been the same unless I equip MND gear (e.g., my Chanter's Staff -- my BST is 50). I don't feel like pulling up a stat calculator and I'm at work, but I would assume there is some variation in my MND stat there. Are you sure that natural MND has any effect whatsoever on Reward?

Pet Food Zeta Biscuit 350 + 3*(MND-45)

just going off hypothetical and guesses as I am not on my character as to spira's math

350 + 3*(67+19-45) = 350 + 3*(41) = 350+123 = 473 base

473 + 50% = 473+236.5 = 709.5
__________________________________________________________

extra 5mnd = 350 + 3*46 = 350+138 = 488 Base

488 + 50% = 488 + 244 = 732

732-709.5 = 22.5 / 5 = 4.5 hp per mnd added

again just speculations whether mind is added before or after reward % is calculated in.

Granted Xora did a stint about this in another thread according to proper math and the math did not equal out in-game, so still some variation.

Granted this is great, but I still have no answer as to my question

Again I think it depends on the situation. For things like Hakutaku a BST might want to come /whm for Paralyna but then that'd be duoing at the least anyways. That's just one situation, I'm doing an Ohat run later tonight with a couple BST and a SMN buddy or else that situation may not have been brought to my attention.

and if you use Ogre Gloves+1 you get 51%

MND69+55 and 41% (=800 hp) , MND69+48 and 44,5% (=808 hp)

now if you want i ll buy another axe and try with MND64+48 and 51% (= idk atm)

my reward set . I do 778 , without food with mnd69+47 and 41%

350 + 3*(64+48-45) = 350+3*(67) = 350+201 = 551

551 + 51% = 551 + 281.01 = 832.01

MND64+48 and 51% (= 832) - if math correct.

now do the same with "MND69+55 and 41% (=800 hp) , MND69+48 and 44,5% (=808 hp)"

1)
350+3× (69+55-45) = 350+3×(79) = 350+ 237 = 587

587 +41% = 587 + 240,67 = 827,67 ( and i have do =>800 hp )

2)
350+3× (69+48-45) = 350+3×(72) = 350 + 216 = 566

566 +44,5% = 566 +251,87 = 817,87 ( and i have do =>808 hp )

MND69+55 and 41% (=800 hp) [Muse Tariqah]
MND69+48 and 44,5% (=808 hp) [Pallas' Shield]
MND 62+48 and 51% = 810[Zoraal Ja Axe ×2]

Zoraal Ja Axe ×2 :

MND 62+40 and 51% = 781 hp (without Goblin Mushpot) [math: 786,7]

MND 62+50 and 51% = 816 hp (with Goblin Mushpot) [math :832,01]

so for me: axe ×2:810 > Pallas:808 > Muse Tariqah:800 with the same set
