I have indeed seen this, actually. There's a few copies on youtube, but the encoding is horrible considering how old it is. Do you actually own that disc? If you do, you'd be doing the community a huge favor by ripping an HQ version and posting it on youtube or (way) better yet, something like filefront so we can DL it. I'd love a HQ hard copy of it for myself.

Wow, 2001? I can't say I've ever heard of it... It was cute.

The way FFXI was portrayed in the video was really casual and fun. It'd be cool if XIV was like that; chatting with a few friends on the PSN network, then meeting up in game and doing a few quests... it would feel a lot more open and adventurous.

I used to own this disc before I sold it a couple weeks ago.
Oh yeah and I've got the original vobs backed up on my HDD and I've got an HQ version on sendspace though.

One of the first things I saw was the image of the Goobbue eating a mandy. They had suggested early on that stuff like that would be a normal NPC vs. NPC interaction, haha. Spent a long part of my first year of playing looking for the "Save the mandies!" quest,
