I just recently returned to Final Fantasy XI. I'm curious if there were servers that were more inclined to individuals who are starting from scratch or are they all the same? In other words, are there any recommended servers?

With the introduction of level sync most servers seem the same for everything except endgame IMO.

They are all pretty equal Ill say, I mean find some friends play with them. Go to FFXIAH.com and see which server has the most ls with the most achievements? No real way to judge they all are bout the same in reality. Personally I been on Shiva this whole time since 2003 and love it, its fine and the endgame is fine as well.

You can't make a character on Odin or transfer to there.

You wouldn't want to go to Odin anyway, there aren't but a few good people left there sadly.
I am confused, you ask which server is best for starting over meaning you are level 1 and need to do your stuff all over which would mean you want a server with a bunch of lower level people and not an end game server then you ask which servers have more end game people..........

i have been enjoying pandemoniums back water status since i started playing. its pretty active but not so crammed full of people that you can not move.
