Its the fact why have blm at all if their just gonna give people an "instant scroll" of pretty much blm exclusive spells.

Because Fenrir and Convert having nothing to do with getting you from point A to point B. People should have the option of choice where their mode of transportation is concerned.

It's like saying only Beastmaster's should be able to ride chocobos.

And if you're worried about other classes getting to use your abilities and spells, then we need to dump the entire subjob system as well. If anything you can take pride that you've leveled the job and you're using the spell itself over the scrolls, but that shouldn't limit other people to shouting in Whitegate for thirty minutes hoping for a Retrace, Teleport, or D2.

But that wasn't my point at all...

Retrace was only meant for Blm to use.
Hence why they put it in the update for us b4.
+ The lvl of 55 so no1 else could use it.
In other words, it was meant to be "EXCLUSIVE" to blm to use themselves.

Now any1 can use it.
That was my point =]

Eh, whatever. There's plenty more in this update to be upset over than the fact that they actually did something worthwhile. I leveled WHM and BLM to have the freedom of teleporting, warping, and retracing wherever and whenever I pleased, but the addition of the retrace scrolls is a damned good thing. There's nothing stopping anyone from leveling BLM to 55 so they won't have to use AN/CP/IS/gil to make a quick trip to the past.

It helps out a vast numbers of people, and I'm hoping they keep the trend of adding transportation-friendly NPCs/items/what have you in FFXIV.

Or we can go back to the Dark Ages of having no Chocobos at the crags, no outposts, and having to spend 5k for a teleport.

We need items of escape, since /sch is replacing /blm on some jobs.

SE really should make enfeebling potions that actually target monsters instead of yourself, as well as healing potions that can be used on other party members.

Although it would be a good laugh to waste points using instant warp/retrace other people (as well as chaotically heinous for ppl waiting for treasure pool or getting kicked out of parties).
