Go do the fight yourself or, if you have been lazy with Altana missions, get the latest update Mortama has made to Altana Viewer and have a look at the new effects folder for this update. A couple of them are from Moogle Kupo d'Etat, a couple are from Lilisette, a couple are from Cait Sith.

Eerie Eye makes a pair of big green cat eyes appear over Cait Sith. Mewing Lullaby makes a few ribbons of musical bars spiral up from Cait Sith. Divine Favor is just a big beam of holy light as I recall. Level ? Holy looks like a bunch of holy-infused dice falling at random from a cloud. If I could redo the fight, I suppose I would to grab screenshots, but it's simpler to just do this stuff yourself.

im a little ways off from the missions, but working on kupo missions atm.. I just wanna see what the fight looks like and what atomos looks like in the arena fight.

He looks exactly like a Cavernous Maw. There's nothing remotely interesting about him, just go look at a Cavernous Maw that is active in the past (one of the floating ones with avatar glow) and that's what Cait Sith Ceithir summons.

i cleared this yesterday.. one of the first few groups on my server.

cant say much for the avatar potential of atomos. he's the great devourer. a non-sentient entity that mindless devours that which it deems unfit to exist across time.
his move in the BC is quite funny.. sucks up all your stats and gives them to Cait Sith Ceithir... very powerful stat drain tho.. all my stats were near 0.

Cait Sith is a slightly more likely candidate. From the story we are told that Cait Sith is born from the tears of Altana herself, and is fairly powerful.. Of the 5 good Cait Sith's remaining, they combined to form 1 stronger Cait Sith... which is still serving to lead you along the mission storyline. I wouldn't rule out Cait being an avatar completely.. its cutesy and is avatarish enough... but I don't think it'd be any time soon if so..

While I was fighting Atomos, I definitely saw potential in it being an avatar. If it'd be able to absorb 60+ of every stat and pass them on to the summoner or party members I'd level it in a heartbeat.

I have heard alot of things that have had potential over the years.

Bahamut, Alexander, now Cait Sith and Atomos.

I really hope I am wrong about this, but I highly doubt these will be new avatars.

They way I think it will work is you summon caitsith, and then she will summon atomos right away, or shortly after to assist her.

Atomos will kinda do his own thing, and we will have a few BP's for each? something like this i bet.

here is a thought

1. atomos is an avatar without a mind.

2. cait sith is a mind without avatar status.

maybe SE plans to give us both as 1 whole avatar with cait sith riding on atomos. think about atomos blood pacts. he does down stats, then he gives it all to cait sith to buff her up. what i'm suggesting is se might give us a tag team avatar.

When he does Soul Vacuum I wonder.....per how many people in the party is drained 50-60x4(party4)???(each stat)/(party4) followed by Soul Fusion which is given to all party members including the avatar. I'm sure it will be weaker but its going to >>>> Fenrir buffs

Also going to be nice to get into Walk Of Echos zone next update I think.

I completed the last mission of WoTG today and idk if atomos or cait will be avatar. It could be cool to have cait and a BP that can summon Atomos.

Also don't expect summonable Atomos to reduce an enemy's stats to single digits. It won't happen so don't get your hopes up.
