I feel bad for those who worked so hard to get Bahamut's Staff, considering how easy it is to get the augment weapons. And the weapons can potentially be even better than Bahamut's Staff since it can have blood pact delay reduction and magic attack boost too.
I just got Staff with -3 avatar cost and pet: atk +4.
For fight, we had NIN/DRK(night time for movement bonus), 2 BLMs, and did the Grauberg (S) one.
NIN/DRK should kite while spamming stun, sleep, etc to gain hate.
2 BLMs for sleepga.
The rest of the slots can be any DD job or any job that can tank the wivres and DD(We had SAM/NIN and BLU/NIN). We also had SMN/WHM for our healer.
Have NIN/DRK kite the big Quadav NM around the fence, while one BLM ES and Sleepga II beginning of fight(other BLM is backup sleep).
Kill mobs one by one.
When the Quadav is at 75, 50, 25% HP, it will use invincible and spam Skull Bash(it can one-two shot the NIN).
So at this time, NIN should stay kiting.
If you want to play it safe, NIN should kite for the entire battle while BLMs nuke Quadav to death and melee DDs chase it around.
Any job can be kiter as long as they have shadows and a way of producing CE(Stun, Sleep, Flash, Etc).
Even without movement speed bonus, it's possible to kite it around fence without too much trouble.
Finally one last thing, everyone should bring some form of Reraise. Players won't lose exp in battle, and if they die, they can raised and still participate in the fight.

lol pld isnt realy need for kiting i watch group with a blm/sch kiteing the boss around the wall for a small bit of time with very little problem.
but it sure make you feel batter to have a pld with movment speed+ dosnt it. it seemed the mobs in this fight have low low acc my rng/sam had no problem holding hate and not getting hit on the wivre
my set up was rdm blm cor rng rng pld if you want to know, the fight is easy as long as you have a good sleeper and a person with 1/2 a clue kiting

1/1 for that? lucky ass XD
luck of the draw is strong in this one...
but seeing as how its easy to craft (cheap if no one jacks prices) and easy to do, you can do a good number of attempts on this until you find something to your liking.

Thats kinda what i was thinkin.. of all the weapons this one is the easies to craft, sincle craft 63 ww, no sub.. and dirt cheap materials..
Combine that with the fact we can easily make this the 2nd best weapon in the game for us (short of nirvana.. unless we can get perp-5 on this, but thats dreamin big, -4 is optimistic and -3 we know exists).. combined with how easy the grauberg fight is, Smn definatly wins on the pixie weapons.
Ninja Edit: nevermind he said BP-4, not perp -4, i mistead his thing. but still Perp-4 may still be a possibility, we only had these for 4 days now
But still BP-4, Pet:Atk/Ratk+7.
He definatly got one of the better ones so far.

got this from Grauberg. An easy fight if people know what they are doing. I kinda want to get another one that has -BP and more ATT on but no perp so that those Stats are maxed, although I would have to manually go in and put that on for every BP because both weapons have the same name, and that would be annoying.

OMG you ass holes. Making me fap so much over these weapons. I cant keep up!
srsly though.
These weapons are S I C K.
Could someone post a guide on the grauberg fight? People say its easy, but I have yet to see a strategy posted. If it has been posted i am probably over looking it.
TBH.
Spira I am kinda waiting for you to post one of your cool "posters" or w/e you want to call them on these fay weapon fights.
You know like the ones you did for ZNM / ANNM / etc.
srsly though.

For the group I went with we had a PLD/NIN, BRD, WAR, SAM, RDM and myself BLM.
we went in, first try we failed sadly but didn't do too bad, just didn't kill fast enough.
The mobs build resistance Fast, the adds need to be killed basically within the 2nd time they're sleeped. I focused on sleeping the mobs themselves. as did the BRD aside from adding buffs to the party. the SAM, and WAR both /nin tanked the adds. while the PLD kited the main boss around the little fort piece. and the RDM basically main healed the group and threw out some Bios on the main NM while kiting, and then Dia'd him when we stoped kiting.
When we finshed w/the adds the battle became a bit easier, and basically treated it as a normal battle. at 75% 50%, and 25% the boss used "Invincible" after he did that we went back to kiting him till it wore. and went back to smacking him. when he hit 25% he became extremely resistant to everything we threw at him. I know I threw a ES Burst II at him and it did 200 damage, most teir IV's were only taking away 20 damage, but i keeped casting, (what else was i gonna do).
We had some issues, but they were mostly our pld hit some lag moments which caused him to die. and at those points the war or sam ended up kiting him around while our pld recovered from weakness.

I do not, as far as I have seen Perpetuation Augments aren't 100%.
So as a Bahamut's owner I can afford other augments.
I'd feel really shitty for Nirvana owners and upgraders if Perpetuation can be downed more through harder zones even though I doubt Pet: MATK +20 can be beaten.

Ok well if grauberg is getting overcrowded and going down in quality (4 stars like some have said), my hunch about the difficulty is like i guess, from all that ive dfound on other forums.
Darkrift, theres more then a few starts in here on the grauberg fight f you just gotta look, i posted one back on page 2.
we now have 2, count em TWO more fights that are relativly easy.
Rolanberry Fields (S): 4 Quadav NMs, all elementally alligned, Ice Earth Thunder Wind from what i gathered, they dont move into melee range unless you force them too, resistant (or immune to sleep, the peopel who did it didnt try).
The basics are this, each quadav will cast their respective AM, AM2, Aga3 and an enfeable-ga (graviga, paralyzega are the 2 noted). They do NOT seam to possess any sort of fastcast, and you CAN stun them, so stunning the enfeable-ga and aga3 is very easy.
Sugested for people to /nin and let the quadavs cast AM and AM2 since you can utsu blink them away and take no damage.
Sugested Order: Thunder, Ice, Wind, Earth
The other Fight is in Meriphed Mountians (S), but its a little trickier, and i dont remember the strat offhand for it. but its 2 Bard Yagudo NMs (They dont move into melee unless you mele them, and they only self buff).
Each one has 2 scorpion pets, one set of pets is easier then the others.
Basics of it are sleepga the pets (they start to get resistant after that), and kill the NM that controls the harder pets. After that kill all 4 pets (To reset sleep resistance). The NM wont slep but he will stand at range and cast bard songs.
After you kill all 4 pets, start in on the 2nd NM, slepga his pets when they respawn. Kill him then his pets and fight is over.
Ill come back and edit with names when i can.
