Last night I found Ponono of the Weaver's Guild from the present hanging out in the past by the Goblin outside of the Mog House in Windurst Waters (S). I spoke to her and she told me that Windurst was forever in my debt and told me a story of this charm that was special and would behave differently in different conditions. She then gave me a Key Item: Ponono's Charm that is a permanent item. I didn't see a new quest in my quest log and when I talked to her again in the present she didn't say anything besides her normal Clothcraft dialogue. Anyone know what this is for?

The new item list (BG-dat mining) shows a pair of HtH 'scissors' with Clothcraft on them. Apparently it's an association with a set of claws called 'scissor-hands' like the Avengers.

I'm guessing, like the smithing hammer, leathercraft dagger, cooking knife, goldsmith kunai, woodworking axe, and bonecraft gloves; these claws will give you bonus up until you hit 40 in that craft.

Edit: all items are named 'trainee' and the latent effect also goes away if you use synthesis support according to wiki.

Edit2: wiki mentions a quest called "The Young and the Threadless" started by Ponono with a stub in place until ppl get some info on it.

Edit3: update on the wiki quest page: talk to her again after zoning and trade 3 enchanted threads to 3 lakes. Sounds easy.
