Sooooo... i left ffx due to some real life drama shortly before toau was finished. I had a few 75s (whm blm rdm brd bst) and was involved in some decent end game things. I was also extremely blessed to be in a shell that allowed me to use my bst on occasion. Truthfully out of my whole ffxi experience i miss bst the most and would like to return. Im kinda confused about all the new things i see coming out for bst and was wondering if the stigma behind it has gotten any better. Also any new "Must have" gear?

Before ToAU was finished... hmm... Fields of Valor and Treasure Caskets in Sky is pretty nifty. Once you've done a few FoVs, you're able to warp back to your home nation from any Field Manual (which there are about 3+ in any outdoor Zilart area).

Dunno where you marked the finishing point, but they also added Zeni NMs which are a system of trigger spawned NMs that lead all the way to their own versions of the 3 ToAU HNMs and the triggers they drop spawn Pandemonium Warden (now buffed with a 2hr time limit).

Without going into WotG or the mini-expansions, what's left... Moblin Maze Mongers, pretty fun and worthwile with the right setup... just gotta find that setup.
