I was curious as to what cor gets for augments, and I see this disappointing piece of crap...

Why does corsair's augment gun suck so much?

It's a Hexagun, they always have low damage/delay.
Low damage is an understatment.... it has the same DMG as my AF gun -.-

If it was a level 65 gun I'd understand, but it's 75, and even if it does get augmented, chances are it'lll be good as a coffinmaker or martial gun in acc and dmg, probably less.

I don't think the augments are that bad.
But it definently won't take place of Coffinmaker or Martial Gun. If it was higher DMG than my AF weapon, I would of definently considered trying to augment one.

This gun with any possible augment will never compare to a Martial Gun for WS's though making it instantly garbage.
Delay -5~10%
"Snapshot" +3~5
AGI +3~5
Marksmanship +3~6
Ranged Accuracy +6
Additional Effect: Light +9
Are some of the reported augments, any and all combination's of these still make it complete shit.
If you some how managed to get +5 AGI +6 Marksmanship and +6 Accuracy I could see it being ok. But the fact that no +DMG has been reported yet is discouraging.
I can see this gun being ok for like Salvage maybe with those augments.

None of those augments could justify using the gun for any situation I can think of.

Well if you can't find a way to get a Martial Gun in the AH or get people for the ENM as well as being unable to do the KSNM for a Coffinmaker. Then, I could see people using this gun.
The Salvage comment was I could see with the " +5 AGI +6 Marksmanship and +6 Accuracy " would be useful till you could unlock ability/WS. Thinking about it farther, Coffinmaker would still be better until you can use martial's TP Bonus.

Supposedly the new weapon augments cost an arm and a leg, and are also hard to complete without a good group or Ls. I just see this gun being a good r.acc gun for higher evasion/level mobs, but otherwise not worth the trouble.

Not on my server, most expensive I have seen is 70k, even cheaper if you get it crafted.
