I got a new comp where I put fraps on it.

I put a different game on it to see if i had the same issue as ffxi and i don't

I have vista 64 bit.

one game (starcraft) i can take pics and videos. when i take videos it has a big slow down. I can not make the benchmarck key to work or frame rate * the number never pops up but i can see it only on destop if i select that option.

on ffxi it does nothing. no vids, no pics, no frame rate , no benchmarck

still not helping me ( I thought the win desktop thing may be interfering with it for some reason)

omfg i thought i test this to see if it does it on this new comp im talking about, the EU pol allows fraps to run in it US pol dont -.-


it does this on my other comp too where fraps will run in the actaull PoL for EU and not US, though on my other vista 64 bit comp, fraps runs fine in FFXI though US PoL. this new comp fraps wont take ss in FFXI ( us PoL) but i took this frap SS of the EU PoL:



how do i make the EU PoL reconize FFXI? I want ot test to see if fraps works different in ffxi booting though the EU PoL

but even if fraps will work like that, it does not help my other games -.-

So brings up a new question to try work around it, how do i make EU PoL know i have ffxi installed?

ok this si the games I tried so far:

starcraft:
vids are slow, there is no benchmarking or frame rate.
FFXI/US PoL:
nothing

EU PoL:
Pics
vids
benchmarcking
frame rate

WoW:
taking vids hardly effect the game for simple fuctions ( starcraft when i did a vid i felt like i was on a 133 MHz computer)
Has frame rate posted
does benchmarck though fraps
and takes pics




what could cause it to work with some games and not with others properly?
