In the last cutscene of WotG 4 where Lilisette is introduced, at the point when Lilisette is about to begin her solo dance, my friend's screen goes black (like an instant zone) then his PS2 shuts off completely. We think it's because of the emergency update (the third one so far after the July update -.-;; nice job SE), but we can't be sure. Called a GM, said to do a file check; he did, and he was just fine. Anyone else having this problem?

i have a friend who has a simular issue, the file checker program is crap and totally useless. if your friend is having a problem
uninstal lthe game and reinstall it. yea i know its a lot of work but they have a bad file. my friend cant go in her mog in wg without crashing. and she refueses to uninstall and reinstall. so she just doenst goto wg mog house. worse coemsot worse. log on as them do the cutsceen and the let them log back on

Are you sure you're checking FFXI files and not POL files instead? I know it's painfully obvious but some people do make the mistake sometimes. The only reason I say that is because I can't understand why a file check wouldn't work but a reinstall would, but then again I've never had a problem like this.
