This kid was beaten to death at a boot camp to cure his 'internet addiction'

Read the article, make your judgements, do whatever. This article pisses me off because the kid's father thought he needed to be fixed and the kid was basically tortured cause he didn't behave the way they wanted him to. Ugh..

Initially there was a wtf!? reaction. But then I realized this was in China. Somehow I was under the mistaken impression that this happened in a civilized country. No surprise, nothing to see here.

The only thing shocking about that is that the cop was actually doing his job. I would've expected him to be holding the camera, considering the location.
