I am going to make an elite guild from day 1 on FF14. We already have multiple people from Diabolos, as well as a bunch of real life friends joining. Over 10 members so far are going to be a part of it. Who wants in?

You are forgetting this will be an MMO. Therefore, in order to keep the progressed players in the game, there must be an endgame. And I never said endgame, I just said elite. Which means I must exclude you.

not entirely true.... city of heroes had no endgame whatsoever. they say "the game is more about the journey of getting your 'toon' (lol@toon) to max level than endgame"
...and this is also the reason i quit the game

@Strra - This game will have endgame for sure. That way Square can laugh when gilsellers monopolize Ullikummi again.

That is the official website of FF14. If you click "about" on the navbar on the top, it says the release date is sometime 2010. So anywhere from 1/2 a year to a year and a half. They also have screenshots and a video. It has all the old races, elvaan, hume, mithra, tarutaru, and even galka! But they gave the races different names, and the galkas don't have tails now?!? Haha, it'll be sick though!

Times are coming nearer! I am getting better upgrades for my new PC, and am looking at remodeling an old PC I had so I can dualbox off the bat for 14. Got more people interested. Tell all your cool friends who are intelligent enough to be in an elitest guild about this, and lets take over from the start.

What information are you basing this off of?

How is FFXIV going to kill something that controls over 50% of the market?

What specifically is going to make FFXIV better then FFXI and "the best game ever"?

Yeah I really can't wait for XIV to come out. I started playing WoW a few weeks back with Sab but I don't find it that interesting.
