I think it's funny how you guys didn't even read about the 99 cap. They did mention they were adding "The Magians" quest to add up to 80 upgrades to weapons and armor so as old gear won't become obsolete when new gears slowly trickle out from the patch's. But yeah I got alpha access now so we'll see how 14 is

I think I may be skipping FFXIV actually. Seems like all the updates I see are making it sounds like they are taking a lot of the key FFXI things that made it fun (no pet jobs? wtf) and adding things that make it worse (food expiration). I'll probably just continue to not play MMO's til SWTOR comes out.

I just ran the benchmark and it laughed, pointed and shit on my laptop (Yeah, at the same time.) I'm not too thrilled with the idea of having to purchase another system over one game, however I suppose it serves me right for going the mobile route. I can't say I'm going to make that mistake again anytime soon :/ I picked up my Dell XPS 1530 back in 08, I guess it was time for a new one anyways...But yeah, I put in my pre order today as well for the CE, though I think the regular edition is getting the better end of the stick with those cool looking glasses. I'm looking forward to reliving the obsession that took away so many years of my youth once again . Could anyone point me in the right direction for a system that will run FFXIV without fears of shitty frame rates for under 2k?

technically going from summoner to healer is pretty fitting considering our first 70 levels in the job

Also I hear the benchmark is stupidly bias and unoptimized, people with i7 cpu's and decent video cards are getting like 1500's...
