Sup Laz been ages.

Looking forward to this release. Will be involved on day one, and will be a taru this time around. While I learned to love my elvaan, being behind the curve for BLM got old real quick. But seeing Taru's drop in end game from wyrms was always pleasing to say the least.

Day 1 for sure.
Had the opportunity to take a test drive on it at Gamescom '09 Cologne.
Game was far from done, but then again it was a pre-alpha build. But i have high hopes for this to be very good, what do you expect anyway right. I played Hyur Gladiator, my other friends played Elezen (ranger) and Lalafell (blackmage). Was fun, but hard to say anything really.. The area was around Limsa Lominsa and looked something familar to Lathaine plateu, but a little more 'greener' and colorfull. Anyhow.. Beta & 1 day, <yes please>. Already upgrading my pc for this baby.

Based on the fact that Blizzard said they are simplifing the game, in which a damn kinder can login and play the game. Also they will be removing stats and other gear abilities so a somewhat intelligent person doens't need to think to play. WOW is dying Aion and FF14 will be the rescue.

Considering Tanaka's detailings so far, I think it's safe to say guild premeditation and end-game concerns are warranted- After all, WoW and casual squats in the bushes like it don't make up the reality of what MMOs are.

If they have a dragoon style class, that is what I will pick. But who knows how that will work, its too early to tell. All I can tell is that I am getting a PS3 for this, so that I can dualbox with 2 systems. One healer and 1 dragoon. Self-powerlevel 4tw. and probably a static party.

Would be nice if they made some way for people to move from servers in ff11 to ff14 en masse. Like server X in final fantasy 14 is for people from server Y in final fantasy 11.

Im gonna try elezen (male this time) and try the archer class with a mix of blacksmithing . maybe we will be able to max out more than one craft this time.
of course. i would love to try monk again but it seems they renamed it to pugilist. god i hate that word

Real power is trade power. With trade you can get anything. Markets vary, but if you have the power to trade for whatever you want, be it with a rare item or a currency, you win. Sagaxxxx did it with both. He controlled the actual currency, and many rare items, and many crafts. Definitely gonna craft in 14! NEED CASH NAHMEAN!
