There's a debate going on within our limbus LS concerning the jobs that make the best use of Homam Corazza. I'm a 75 PLD but my idle build more or less doubles as my enmity build with Avalon BP, so I haven't really looked seriously at Homam body.

One of the members is arguing that Homam Corazza is the best idle body piece PLD can use, and TBH I really don't know shit about it either way so, figured I'd ask. I don't see it listed in the major equip sticky.

Me? I'm going to stick with my crab battle body either way.

Edit. F*ck. While I'm here they're also on about Dorado sushi vs. Carbonara and Tav Tacos.

This is all /nin btw. I've only used Taco's on /war for like dynamis or something.

Hauby +1 would give the same accuracy and also some attack. NQ Hauby would only be 2.5 accuracy shy of Homam Body so I'd say no it's good but not the best. Even the the accuracy difference would be very miminal.

If you are using Joytoy or something other then Excal, I would go with Hauby +1. The attack +20 makes up for there being no att bonus to the homam body. But with a joytoy, to actually gain TP you need to be doing damage as well as hitting the mob. Nothing wrong with homam body if you don't wanna spend the Gil, but if you have Hauby+1 already, with out an Excal there isn't much of a BETTER option in my opinion.

Use a Hauby/Hauby +1 or you Avalon, Homam is nice but you would use it best with an Excalibur.

Dorado Sushi > carb/tacos. Even in dynamis I dont use tacos I stick to pizza or something.

Its a set I naturally hit the second after I finish taking an action that uses gear for me to use till I do the next action. Generally I have a DD set that has Dusk Gloves and DD gear for Atonement spam, and a Non-Melee idle, w/ Wlegs bit of MDB/MDT and Enmity so I don't blink on non-forced cures for extra enmity. It's just basically a set of gear to take you from one action to another.

Idle, as in the gear I wear when Im swinging my sword. Generally, you would want haste/acc/refresh in those slots while you are gaining tp. Can fit att/str aswell provided they come with some acc too. Wherever you cant fit haste/acc/refresh at, work to getting the gear that does offer that in those spots, and in the meantime wear something til you can acquire that said equipment that will actually keep you alive and/or prolong your death.
